Yes, just imagine the nightmare for the government if people were allowed to talk to each other on the subway electronically and share whatever files they wanted ad hoc with strangers. Yes, it would be slower. That's a lovely thing in my view. Imagine going back to the email pace where you had to wait a few minutes or maybe even 20 before a long message was sent to your friend on the other side of earth.

Maybe there is something I don't understand, but what's stopping people from building their own new Internet? Using the same techniques used to build the first. I revisited my university the last weeks after being away for 2 years due to illness. I tried to sit down and study but it was hard due to all the noise. I'm surprised these days how much time at colleges that is spent not on learning. I mean, isn't that why they are there? Drama, who dated who, tv-series, whether the teacher sucks or not, trump, even though he lives on another continent. The mention of gender-fraud is interesting. I think you should always disclose your birth gender to your partner if you're a transgender, and he/she is heterosexual, before you have sex. If you don't, I think you're kind of a bad person. I would never dream of making it illegal or calling it rape though...
