I do love how the response is now "I don't even need to give a reason" as if it is some cosmic woo-woo that is why they're not into bi men. I'm a bi guy and, honestly, if a religious conservative doesn't want to date me because she thinks I'm an abomination, unclean, or whatever reason like that, then fair enough. I obviously disagree, but I can respect that someone has a view and can stand by it at the very least. This inability to take responsibility for one's own views from, let's be honest, …

As a bi guy I can confirm that most women I've come across are progressive for the optics and clout rather than any personal values. When the doors close and they put the phone down I've had the most pride-flag, BLM, eat-the-rich type friends talk about lower income, non-straight, sexually promiscuous etc people in a manner that would fit right in at a MAGA-rally

Love, support, companionship. A partner to grow and develop with and, in a perfect world, build a family with. Despite what women think, most guys aren't "sex, sex sex". We want a life long partner just as much as women. Carry on with the cope though.

I don't live in the US, certainly not a trump supporter. Most polls show that Trump voters were ~55% men and ~46% women, so a majority but certainly not 'most' and a very large portion of women voted for the guy too https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2025/06/26/voting-patterns-in-the-2024-election/ But by all means ignore everything I just said and pretend 'most men' supported the convicted rapist 🙄

As a guy the message from public bodies, news articles, opinion pieces, popular women-focussed forums and female friends for my entire life has ranged from 'leave women in peace' to 'men are seen as an inherent threat to women until proven otherwise' to a general 'women don't like men'. I've had friends talk about guys chatting to them at a bar, party, or get together in the most awful ways possible ('like, why would he think I was interested?) and have themselves expressed discouragement at the…

I'm finding this out and agreeing with all of this. I just hate that 'ignore what women tell you' is where we're at. I've always tried to listen to other people's perspective , understand where they're coming from, and listen to their experiences. That women either lied or are incapable of explaining themselves properly is such a depressing conclusion and so obviously results in the red pill/disillusionment with women that a noticeable amount of men are going through

Agree with you, as a bi guy I've tried to explain to past gfs how the issues they had follows the same logic as any other bigoted reasoning and I can see them mentally trying not to make the connection. People can have whatever preferences they want, the issue is when the reasoning behind those preferences is just bigotry - it's depressingly comical how these 'progressives' would kick off if it their exact same thinking was said by someone like JD Vance

You don't need to 'prove yourself' on a coffee date, it's about both people getting to know each other.....over a coffee...... Most men want a partner, not a trading index, from their dating life. Presenting yourself as something to be 'invested' in will only ever filter for the kind of finance-bros for whom everything is a profit/loss strategy - not exactly someone who will grow to love and care for you As above. If someone is willing to spend $200 for a dinner with someone they have likely onl…

Really helpful post. I've been thinking of starting cold approaches as OLD is cancer and don't really have other opportunities to meet people. What would you recommend as openers/what would you look out for when going up to someone to tailor your opener to them? How would you then progress from opener into an actual conversation? Amy tips much appreciated :-)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
