Do you think the same thing as in Japan is gonna happen to the entire world when western lifestyle/values/culture spreads everywhere?Hopefully this goes to highlight to your critic that you actually put a lot of intention into what you write. My guess is the the comment about Word Salad comes more from a lack of critical thinking and reading comprehension at the level your post was written at. I read it without any issue and thought you made insightful and clear, albeit verbose, points. I feel like there's a whole generation who have come up with memes as a stand-in for critical thinking. Memes can often highlight tremendous … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/06/22 07:38 PM
Do you think the same thing as in Japan is gonna happen to the entire world when western lifestyle/values/culture spreads everywhere?Perhaps for some people, who knows. The future is odd to think about. Spirituality helps. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/06/22 04:45 PM
Do you think the same thing as in Japan is gonna happen to the entire world when western lifestyle/values/culture spreads everywhere?I know the feeling. I have gotten better at the art of being succinct over the years. I had an assignment once where I had to do an evaluation on a patient, 6-8 pages total length. When we handed it in, we immediately got it back and had to cut it down to 4-6 pages. People aren't likely to read super long notes in a patient's chart, so the surprise part of the assignment helped us to edit a fair amount while retaining what was important. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/06/22 04:43 PM
So, one of those "sex on tap" TRPer apparently got exposed to his wife once and his wife ended up coming to reddit. Here is a rare glimpse behind the curtain from both sidesI'm a therapist and I diagnose people all of the time. I have to in order to bill for visits. The diagnosis I add enters into the same problem list used by primary care providers, psychiatrists, and other specialty care providers. Therapists absolutely diagnose people. That said - mild attachment issues is not a diagnosis, it's an observation, you're right about that part. It also speaks to the ways in which people will use psych diagnoses as a means to discredit someone else's perspective. It's… | /r/ExRedPill | 25/06/22 11:31 PM
I embodied the mentality that came with being red-pilled on “female nature.” I went far down the rabbit hole. I sabotaged relationships of all kinds while exploring this. This is what I ended up with:The good news is that we can be of service to others by sharing our perspective. I'm a recovering heroin addict, and now I work with folks who are dealing with addiction because it's a way to take that pain and use it to help other people - so I see an analogy in that way. It was really heartening to read your post because it's easy to feel alone with that kind of experience, and also to know that other people get it, and have also found acceptance and the commitment to change. Glad to share in … | /r/ExRedPill | 25/06/22 11:20 PM
I embodied the mentality that came with being red-pilled on “female nature.” I went far down the rabbit hole. I sabotaged relationships of all kinds while exploring this. This is what I ended up with:I can relate so much to this, and the wisdom gleaned. I'm not sure that I could have been taught this early on, but mostly because I was so focused on hiding the fact that I was unsure of myself. I realized at a certain point in my late 20s that I had attractive qualities and unattractive qualities, that I could learn from watching characters in television shows (Mad Men for example) how to emulate confidence and charisma, in order to broadcast what I thought that you/she/someone else might find… | /r/ExRedPill | 25/06/22 10:28 PM
Do you think the same thing as in Japan is gonna happen to the entire world when western lifestyle/values/culture spreads everywhere? This is hardly word salad - it's verbose, but the comment is very much on point. Our economic situations, deregulated away from a shared sense of values, and disconnected from the production of anything has lead to increasing alienation. Our focus on tech for tech's sake means more people crammed pointlessly into cities we don't know, or cities too big to get to know, while actual infrastructure becomes increasingly unstable. Over time, we rely on tech to facilitate a means to connect socially, … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/06/22 08:29 PM
How do you remove the need for human touch? This comment has not basis in reality. Humans are social beings. "Medical basis" means nothing. We are beings that experience objective and subjective realities. Trying to put yourself into a box of "medical" truth is devaluing a huge part of your experience as a living sentient being. Consciousness is not "medical" in nature, and yet, here you are. | /r/MGTOW2 | 26/02/21 12:24 AM
How to stop thinking about "love"?Why would the suggestion of addressing your feelings/baggage/trauma with a trained professional be considered "being a douche"? That's honestly the best suggestion that OP and many men who feel conflicted or in pain should be considering. Self awareness, openness to change, and willingness to admit that you are struggling are qualities that all men should embrace and not reject. This too shall pass. | /r/MGTOW2 | 26/02/21 12:17 AM
