But in the absence of explicit consent, there shouldn't be signs of clear nonconsent, such as multiple requests to leave, including when she very first opened the door. I already addressed this in my original post. This has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not she consented to sex. It may constitute trespassing, but nothing else. He said she left the door open when she walked away, that doesn't exactly scream "please leave me alone" to me. Your argument assumes that sex == rape by default in the absence of explicit consent. If a company could really get away with paying their female employees 20 cents less on the dollar what they pay the males... they wouldn't hire any men. 1	Cross Post from 2XC - Daily Kos Writer Takes Issue with Male Studies. Can You Smell the Fear Yet? I'm not sure how I feel about this. I don't think there is anything more wrong with having a Male studies class then there is a women's studies class. I guess I just don't like either. 0	What is Abuse? - Good article...one problem...the abuser is always a "he". I guess women do not abuse their significant other. I don't have a problem with this. This is like women taking offense because a programming or engineering book always uses the male pronoun. 1	A MOTHER found by the Family Court to be violent, untruthful, lacking moral values and responsible for the psychological and emotional abuse of her children has been given custody of them. The father, deemed "principled" has been banned from seeing his daughters. It's not about kids being the future. It's about kids being kids and lacking the full responsibilities, abilities and privileges that an adult has. Depending on the age, a kid cannot generate a source of income for themselves, they cannot sign contracts, they cannot (from a legal POV) make decisions for themselves. That's why it's the parents and in custody cases, the courts responsibility to make the determinations for what is best for the child.
