7	Alienated Dad here. Could use some advice with my 11-year-old daughter. This sounds like almost my exact story... Ex left me, alienated my daughter because she thought I'd just give up and let her have her if she "hated" me. Then she convinced her that her new bf was really her dad and that I never was. I'm still fighting for custody. But it sucks man. 3	When and what to say to kids in "the talk?" Well, my wife up and left and took the kids and told my daughter that they were leaving daddy. She kept them away from me for 6 weeks. So as long as you're not doing that, you're already way ahead of what she did. 1	Question about my chances... Yeah, she's telling me that I'm stalking her because I found out her address that she wouldn't tell me, and says the only way I could find that out was to follow her home. 1	Question about my chances... Yeah, I've never hurt my kids or my wife. Ever. This therapist is the only thing she has as "proof" but it's completely one sided. I'm just afraid they're going to see her as the "female victim" and give her what she wants. But since she left I've treated her constantly with love and respect. I've been begging for her to come back, and she threatened me with a harassment lawsuit. I'm just crushed by this whole thing. 2	Long & Complicated .... I Need Help Yeah, I feel you. I'm in that same boat. I have sent her multiple letters and voicemails begging for her to come back, apologizing for every little thing I've ever done, begged her to go to counseling... But at this point I'm changing my strategy to fighting her as hard as I can to get my kids away from her, because she's clearly the one damaging our kids. 3	Long & Complicated .... I Need Help Man, I can feel your pain so badly right now. My wife just left me 3 weeks ago and took the kids and won't let me see them. She's using them to hurt me because she thinks I was emotionally traumatizing her and cheating on her, which are lies. I won't get a chance to see my kids for another 3 weeks until our hearing.
