All of those sources say nothing about the lack of women in stem, but rather discuss the toy preferences of boys and girls. Two of them, in fact, and one meta-analysis of similar studies. They all indicate that dolls are the favored choice regardless of gender, although boys are more likely to go for a toy car or something than girls. Yes, it's a well known fact that, on average, men are better than women at some things and vice versa. That's not my point. My point is that in this particular study, the result should be taken with a grain of salt because of the relatively small sample size. Yeah, there's much less crime here than other countries, but that doesn't mean use of force should be proactive except when, like, busting a trafficking ring or something.
