I had to look at your post history to find the other comment because for whatever reason it isn't showing up in the thread for me. Oh well. All of those sources say nothing about the lack of women in stem, but rather discuss the toy preferences of boys and girls. Two of them, in fact, and one meta-analysis of similar studies. They all indicate that dolls are the favored choice regardless of gender, although boys are more likely to go for a toy car or something than girls. That's not really sayin…

Tell me where in my comment I said I believe there's no inherent difference between men and women. Yes, it's a well known fact that, on average, men are better than women at some things and vice versa. That's not my point. My point is that in this particular study, the result should be taken with a grain of salt because of the relatively small sample size. Gender has social and biochemical elements; of course there's going to be differences. Also: I know reading is hard but I believe in you. Att…

That study's sample size isn't really reliable, though. It could be true, of course, but it could also just be a false positive. Note the wording used in the beginning of the article: the study suggests the possibility that boys and girls develop differently.

No, though economy-wise we're getting there. I get your point, though. Yeah, there's much less crime here than other countries, but that doesn't mean use of force should be proactive except when, like, busting a trafficking ring or something. I'm not trying to defend the girl in the original post, she only really suffered some humiliation. I'm just saying it'd be nice for people worldwide not to have to fear police brutality.

Well, at least where I'm from, that stuff is mostly for self defense rather than assault.

That sub was such a cesspool. The only thing that came out of it that wasn't horrible is the Virgin vs Chad meme, which they were actually using unironically.

Look, just because white privilege exists, doesn't mean all white people are immune to all consequences whatsoever. It's an emergent property in large groups, not an individual by individual issue.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
