Ok, so if I think avoiding black people is in my best interest (which I don't) you don't begrudge that decision?

You're defending a behavior that you don't think is good? Or are you saying it's "legal" to do it? It's also legal for me to avoid black people, but I wouldn't defend that behavior
/r/TheRedPill05/10/23 09:26 PM

Well, you defended the general behavior of writing off groups of people (men) for immutable characteristics (penis) and that's what I was addressing.

The obvious answer to all your questions is no. However, you shouldn't base how much attention or socialization you give to someone based on immutable characteristics. Also, not socializing with people deliberately for no valid reason is rather anti-social. The reason I haven't addressed the individual person who doesn't want to socialize with a group of people is because that would never happen in reality. In reality what will happen is if we don't discourage people from not socializing with gr…

I didn't ask if you had a problem with ME not socializing with women, I asked if you had a problem with someone not socializing with women. If you have no problem with that, what prevents a number of like-minded people who individually came to the conclusion that they would not like to socialize with women from happening to work at the same company and then socializing only with eachother?

I feel like you're deliberately not getting my point? In this instance, the person choosing to not interact with the opposite gender is the one with the potential opportunities. Let's say at work, all the men go out and hang out and they only network with each other are also the only ones with this avenue for career advancement. I thought feminism had an issue with this? I guess my only point is that I don't support not socializing with people because of an immutable characteristic, and you do?

Ok, so at work for instance, I will fulfill my professional obligations when it comes to communicating with women and tell them required information, but I will only be actual friends with men. So, after work activities, hanging out, getting to know eachother and "network" and potentially better my work situation because of my friendships will only be done with men. This is acceptable to you? Most of my career advancement has been due to friends and things outside of work, so wouldn't doing this…

Isn't not interacting with someone because of an immutable characteristic bad? Isn't feminism against men doing this with "boys clubs" and the such? Does this logic apply to men also, in that it's perfectly acceptable to completely avoid interacting with women because they're women?

I completely agree, and that is a more apt comparison, thank you. I experienced said balding and agree it’s pretty bad looking, so I removed it via laser removal. BTW, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Imagine a trait or quality you like about men, imagine that he exaggerated that thing, and then imagine you find out he was exaggerating said thing. You wouldn't be disappointed? I don't know what you consider to be high quality, so for now, 'thing' will have to suffice. That's known as a "bait and switch" and most people don't like it. You are free to be ok with and like whatever you choose, no judgement there. However, as I said, most people are at least disappointed when it happens to them. A…

Why not? It’s being dishonest about something desirable. You might be able to argue that finances are a bit different, but what about height?

I am still on your side when it comes to how he reacted. Personally, even if someone had an actual deformity, I couldn't react that way due to my empathy. I wouldn't be ok with making someone feel that way, and I don't agree with the way he did it. However, what if we take what you said and apply it from a different perspective? This is the issue I have. What if you met a guy, and he acted financially self-sufficient, but it turned out he wasn't? What if he exaggerated about his height, or anyth…

Are you OK with the reverse equivalents of what you just said? Would you be ok with a man acting like he was self-sufficient financially but when you start dating, it turns out he isn't? What if he were standing on platform shoes this whole time? Should he say "well, she should have known I wasn't that tall, most guys aren't?"

This is quite obviously selective application of equality when it suits women, in this case, and they shouldn’t do that, nor should they need to be told not to do that

https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2020/02/if-you-want-marriage-equals-then-date-equals/606568/ Heterosexual women of a progressive bent often say they want equal partnerships with men. But dating is a different story entirely. The women I interviewed for a research project and book expected men to ask for, plan, and pay for dates; initiate sex; confirm the exclusivity of a relationship; and propose marriage. After setting all of those precedents, these women then wanted a marriage in whi…

There is no debate here, I was trying to make your obviously unhealthy view on relationships obvious to you as well, by taking your logic to it’s logical lengths and pointing out the absurd situations you’ll get into. I was actually trying to help you.

I guess that's one way of being the best; instead of self-improvement or being confident in yourself, you can make sure they simply don't have enough experience to know anything better. I guess that's step one. Then of course you'll need to worry about the future, best to make sure she doesn't interact with people, otherwise she might find someone funnier, or more attractive, are smarter, or better conversation, or any other metric that might jeopardize the 'better package' status. I guess maybe…

The reality that given there are 7.5 billion people in the world, it's astronomically unlikely you are actually the best for each other in every way. It honestly sounds to me like you've never even been in a relationship.

I'm not talking about investing in something uncertain. You are right, it is not inherently 'weak' to choose the safe option. However, there is something weak about choosing to engage with a negative emotion that is borne of your inability to accept reality. Your emotional fulfillment depends on the girl you are chasing simply not experiencing enough so that you still have a chance at being decent? That sentence sounds like something a healthy and strong individual participates in?

Some of it is good advice, but some of is this that gets a lot of support https://np.reddit.com/r/FemaleDatingStrategy/comments/ginyu7/old_scrote_tells_his_daughter_that_no_man_will/ There is a lot of manhating on that subreddit. I am subscribed to it and there are some truly crazy posts that get a lot of support.

I had it done on my head, it was extremely painful and only removed about 75% of the hair, took about 3 years. Mine is probably the worst case scenario but still, it is what happened Edit: the pain seems to correspond with how much “flesh” there is, and there isn’t much on your head, so it might not be as bad

It’s not even close to an equivalent. Look at the rules for both subs. TRP never just blanket banned females, it didn’t ban people for presenting both sides, and it didn’t ban female sympathizers.

I like it, his future as something he’s been training for a long time to be, his health, even if only temporary, the pain of getting stabbed, the money he spends on painkillers and the inconvenience of it all are sacrifices you’re more than willing to make, as long as justice is served and an innocent damsel is spared accountability for her actions. I read that and apparently it’s only contrived if you assume that item is an invidious item, which it may or not be. Also, I don’t know if you’re aware of this, but for some, perhaps many, people, children are indeed an invidious item. Have you not seen those endless, stupid streams of people’s ugly babies?

He didn’t answer her questions because they were obvious straw man arguments. Instead of using logic to come to the correct conclusion, she is using literary devices and flawed logic to incite the crowd to be on her side. The most obvious straw man argument she made was “do you think there is a correlation between hating Jews and killing them.” The problem with this is that it assumes that some group of people hating jews makes other people hate jews simply because they say they hate Jews, which…

I don't really agree with this? Shouldn't we be happy that she didn't put out only because he had money? I don't known if we're allowed to complain both when women want men because of money and don't when they don't want men because of money. Am I wrong?
