Seems like the point is being missed. This is graduation rates, not acceptance rates. I don't advocate equal outcome, only equal opportunity. With that said, I don't think males are being given the same opportunity to go to college and they are being marginalized in high school. Men and women are very different physically & mentally. You can't really teach boys and girls in the same way. There is a strength difference too. That is why typically a female gold medalist would not qualify for the same sport in mens. With this in mind, we have different strengths and weaknesses. Your experience may be different. That is how mine worked out. The women in my old office who were pregnant weren't doing too much, and the girls that weren't pregnant were planning their wedding. After taking almost an entire year off, they were mad that their annual raise wasn't high enough. Maternity leave is great, but it should not entitle you to the same benefits that those who didn't take time off earned.
