That’s something that really got me! He can’t even be bothered to help look after the children he ‘wanted’ so badly. What an asshole. This is straight up The Yellow Wallpaper levels of horror.

A common misconception about INTERPOL is that the are an international law enforcement agency. It is merely a network of law enforcement agencies and so operates as a way to connect different country’s law enforcement agencies. As such, individuals with no connection to a law enforcement agencies are unable to make reports. For anyone reading this, if you find any depictions of child sexual abuse online please report it to the IWF (Internet Watch Foundation) as well as your country’s hotline. He…

I think it’s important to be informed about this stuff as adult women so that we can accurately describe and take action against misogyny found online. Smut is defined as obscene or pornographic material. Snuff is a video or film that depicts actual homicide or suicide, they often also depict sexual violence.

There is a huge problem of human trafficking in relation to mining. Miners also often work naked because of the heat far under the earth. Here’s an article from Verite: https://www.verite.org/africa/explore-by-commodity/gold/ The whole comparison is pretty inane. I’m not sure what the Twitter user was trying to do.

Also, coal miners have been abused for centuries in degrading situations as well. My great grandfather lost his eye, lost his finger, suffered abuse from the military when he went on strike, and later died in his early 40s from black lung. He moved from the area to spare his grandchildren from suffering the same fate. I think my grandparents would have done and have done everything in their power to prevent us from having to work these kinds of jobs that harm you spiritually, emotionally, and ph…

The whole thread is absolutely sickening and heartbreaking. Two innocent babies being tortured by this sick man :(

Someone on the original thread pulled up a previous post of hers on removeddit and the OP was referring to the baby as both her and the boyfriend’s, the boyfriend has another older son that they don’t share.

This is honestly so ducking disgusting. I can’t imagine someone sticking around for this!! If she doesn’t leave she’s as bad as him!

I would wager most women have side effects, but they just power through them and ignore them because we have generally pretty high pain tolerances and are used to doctors thinking we’re hysterical. The pill made my periods pretty much disappear, which is pretty disconcerting if you think about it. It also completely fucked with my libido, as well as my anxiety.

If you can’t get into a top tier law school, there’s literally no point and you are kidding yourself. Hiring prospects for law graduates are so competitive you’ve got to have all your ducks in a row, and this guy’s ducks are scattered around.

Am I the only person in the world that hates morning sex? It seems like all the other humans love it...

Exactly. Marilyn Monroe, Karen Carpenter, the list goes on. I’m considered attractive, many members of my family have modelled, etc. Has that saved me or my female relatives from shitty relationships with creeps? Nope. I would even venture to guess it brings sociopaths special joy to feel like they have control over someone who is considered exceptionally attractive or beautiful by society.

Same. I dated a guy once that modelled professionally, was gorgeous. Waiters would hit on him when we’d go out, just to give you an idea. By the end of it though, he physically repulsed me. Almost like ‘The Picture of Dorian Grey’.

11 for me as well! I was walking home from school and I remember clearly I was wearing a limited too shirt that had a bedazzled monkey on it. I for sure looked like a little girl!

In most animals as well, juvenile females who are barely fertile also have huge issues with carrying a pregnancy to term. Males tend to go after fully developed and mature females, not juveniles that are newly fertile.

There are definitely special circumstances where I could see the delay between legal and social ceremony being necessary. Times of war, pandemics, extenuating familial or legal circumstances. Everyone has different choices to make. However, if the fiancé is suggesting this as a means of escaping responsibility, yeah it makes no sense.

I’d bet you anything that it was a big dinner at someplace nice, the girlfriend took time and money to make herself up, and then had dude bro show up in jeans after months or years of him pulling the same shit. Then he posts on Reddit looking for some bullshit ego stroking... Good for her in knowing when to bail.

I feel the same about Jessica! It’s not the age gap, it’s about where you are in life.

The evil glare thing also rubbed me the wrong way. I have never experienced evil glares from strange women that I don’t know, even though I live in a major city and consider myself reasonably attractive. I have had random women come up and compliment my outfit though. My mother who is unable to maintain female friendships however does complain about women giving her evil looks and not wanting to be her friend because of her ‘beauty’...I think this statement is indicative of something else.

The terminology and definition of statutory rape depends on the jurisdiction. It’s also possible that additional charges will be brought forth. What he did is by all means just pure evil, but I’m not sure what the jurisdiction’s definition of statutory rape versus ROAC (rape of a child) would be, unfortunately. Edit to add: statutory rape does not imply consent as children are unable to. It does imply coercion, however not necessarily force.

I’m also partial to coffee dates. I don’t really like doing activities on a first date because it’s hard for me to multitask and engage in conversation at the same time. I also don’t like being alone around a relatively strange man on the first date, so busy public places like cafes for a 30 minute/ hour get to know you was my preference.

Idk I’ve seen some very sweet vow renewals. There was one couple I read about in their 80s/90s who did their dream fantasy wedding/vow renewal because they had a quick and bare bones wedding during the war. I think it depends on the intent behind the vow renewal.

My brother was obsessed with Applebee’s as a very young child, even though we never went in. Now I’m imagining a little toddler proposing to another little toddler, talking about how great Applebee’s is.

This literally enrages me so much. Men would generally never consent to something like this. Why is it ok to demean women? So much of porn disgusts me so much. There’s no emotion, it’s about power and control. Women are not celebrated, they are hurt and abused.

I feel like that works just for like...all people. Men and women both should take the time and have the opportunity to work on themselves until they’re able to care for their romantic partner. But, I feel in general most women realise this, and there tends to be a lot more guys out there trying to date who haven’t sorted themselves out yet.

This is something I have been struggling with. I just don’t know what would make it worth it for me to have children if my partner isn’t fully 100% behind me and supporting me. Just the plain physical impact, not to mention psychological, seems so intense...
