Sounds like she was looking for some attention and got denied, rather than being pissed you were single.

I was in a similar situation and a few years older than you. I went on a small hook-up spree. It was nice to get over the hump. More recently, I quit my job to create my own software company. That was the moment where I felt "good". Now, I don't care about women, and it's a good spot to be in.

I think it goes much deeper than that. Sex is just surface level.

Pretty much. Surprising how that comment, which isn't quite accurate, is getting so many upvotes on here.

There are websites doing book summaries, at least for business books. I would imagine there are the same for personal growth books as well.

Great post. This is how I feel. I don't care to be popular. I rather spend my time becoming a better me and following my passions than becoming someone I'm not to impress other people.

I recently joined a men's team, and this is what the team is all about. Helping each other become better men and hold each other accountable. Such teams are very powerful, and it's disappointing they aren't mentioned on this reddit.

Just for some clarification, you should be doing these things only if you want to. You shouldn't be lifting or wearing stylish clothes to impress women, or anyone. You should wear them because you want to. Yes, it's good to take care of yourself, but it can be done without the mindset of trying to impress others or trying to gain attention from women.

The book '59 seconds' talks about this and lots of other tricks, although it's not a book on seduction.

I think it's better to sit across from each other. You aren't at the movies. Sitting across from each other lets you see each other a lot easier and more often.

To people who say this is over analyzing, I disagree - I've noticed this myself and thought it was somewhat common sense.

I think there's two faces to this coin. There's some guys who want to go to the club, impress girls, pick them up, and get laid. Then there's also guys who just want to develop social skills to help them ask their crush out in hopes of developing a long term relationship. And there's people in between too. For the 2nd group, I think the community can be helpful, but for the people who want to get laid and those in between, you do have a point, depending on the location... There's more competitio…

Some minor criticisms or clarifications... One shouldn't be doing crunches or calf raises necessarily to get in shape. If you want strong abs, the plank might be better. And calfs can be built up just be running uphill or hiking, no need to focus on them specifically. You might want to add body weight squats too for the fitness test. Flossing is good in general and shouldn't be optional. Speaking clearly is good for texting/emails too. Dont rite like dis.

I'm 25 and still a virgin (still waiting too) and had lots of offers - though that doesn't mean there hasn't been any fooling around. When the right girl comes along, she'll respect your decision when it comes to sex.
