I've debated about this for a while. I've concluded that you end up spending more money by having a kid and being married. So the taxes aren't worth it. Basically, save more but spend more. I rather be single, be free, and be happy.

No, sorry I should have been more clear. My second statement agreed with my first statement when I read your comment. I asked, can he hit her then walk away. then, by your comment I gander becuase of this law, in fact he could hit her and then walk away. Much in the same vein as American school guideline dictates, "if you are getting your head stomped in, do not fight for your life because you'll get suspended/expelled"

Completely agree, pulling a gun and killing someone is inexcusabl. I would assume when it comes to physically punching then it becomes muddy. Very interesting law, I wonder if it has ever been explored in depth in actual court.

What? How did you go from getting hit to getting killed?

Yes, that was my question. It seems like a law that could be taken advantage.

So yes, he could have hit her then walk away.

If this was your country, does that mean he could have slapped her once and then walk away saying "sorry about that, I'm walking away now."

I just googled the story and apparently she was doing a story about a woman who was trying to get her children back. She tried to help the mother retrieve the kids (unlawfully) but were caught in the process. I wouldn't call it "nasty stuff" just misguided justice.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
