I live in LA. Tons of beautiful women. And I'm not doing absolutely horrible out here, just underwhelming. But literally EVERYTIME I go to another city (New York, SF, DC, etc.) I have immediate success at the bars. I also match with alot more girls on Tinder (which has nothing to do with my "game"). Not sure what the reason for this is. I guess the "trickle down" theory doesn't work with economics AND hot girls.

I believe this is how I messed it up with this gorgeous girl I had taken out twice. LESSON LEARNED.

Buy popcorn and cut a small hole through the bottom of the bucket just large enough for your penis to stick through.

I thought it was an LA thing. Literally every time I visit my friends in NYC or SF I do really well at the bars. I went on a cross country drive with a friend starting from DC and I did very well on my first and only night there ;). Me and my friends joke about whether gay men on the prowl looking for other gay men get the same attitude/stuckup-ness in LA.

True, but the question is how much interest should you show? I would think that asking somebody out just once would show interest. If a girl is being flaky after you asked her out a few times one would think that she already knows you are interested and that if she was interested she would oblige you instead of being flaky. So should you admit defeat and walk away or should you continue?

This has been an internal debate I've had for a very long time: the value of persistence. Basic "game theory" says you should not appear needy or put anybody on a pedestal, it makes you look very unattractive. However, if a girl you are extremely interested in is being a bit flaky or unresponsive, does that mean you should give up immediately and preserve your 'I don't have time for this B.S., I'm an alpha male with other options' attitude? Or should you be persistent, showing that you are man e…

No, it centered on trying to make it the same as college (ie the focus on partying like a frat boy). And the point of my post was that that is futile.

I missed college so much in my mid-20s. I kept harping on it so much with my friends that they used to call me Uncle Rico (from Napoleon Dynamite) because I kept talking about the "good ol' days". I'm now almost 35 and most of those friends are married and about to have kids. I'm doing very well dating girls but life is so different than when I was 25 that now I miss my mid-20s instead of college. Moral of the story: just enjoy the present as much as you can, let go of the past, and accept life'…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
