I get your point better now. I spent some time with very affluent guys. Many of them were well-trained and had money and improved their looks through clothing and grooming as far as possible. But so many were also single. I was wondering why. I think self acceptance is important here. When you have a good personality and accept yourself the way you are and you can spread a positive vibe, women will be attracted to you.

Let me be direct: This is a prime example of a scarcity mindset based on an inferiority complex. So if others are good, you feel challenged by them because you are not "better" anymore? Life is not a competition!

The simple answer is: You just have to be confident. If you are confident, another person who is confident as well is no challenge to you. You also don’t have to be “more confident” than the woman. In fact, when you are together with such a woman sometimes you will be leading and sometimes she. So you also have to be able to sit in the passenger seat sometimes. That is a sign of maturity! Also: Don’t let her dominance get to you. Be playful, joke around like a child to his or her mother does.

I remember Warren Buffet has the boxes on his desk when he makes investment decisions. One is “yes”, one is “no”, and the last one is “too complicated”. In terms of your woman, I would put her in the too complicated box. 😀

This is easy. Just schedule at time for her to meet your family. It is actually a very good sign she wants to greet them.

Try a combination of touching her, teasing/bullshitting with her and then when you get positive responses, dial up the temperature by acting more sexual or making sexual comments. If you don’t get positive responses, like when she doesn’t like to be touched take a few steps back and try again later.

Make the dates low effort. Just meeting for a coffee somewhere. Filter before the date: For example have a telephone call first and see how it goes and then agree to meet. There will always be women who ghost, the important thing is to reduce the ratio of women who ghost. Maybe schedule two dates at roughly the same time. Then you have a plan B and don’t waste your time.

I think you need to go all in. When a girl travels with a group of her friends, she will be extra on guard. So you have to find the girls who are open to your approaches. Otherwise you will meet 100 new friends. Since you have nothing to loose, just be more direct, state your intentions and invite her for a coffee or some quick activity straight away. You might also consider logistics by staying in a hotel in your own room and still hang out in the hostel where the girls are. Other than that it …

I think you almost have to agree on a date from the first meeting in this setting. Make sure you have interesting stories to tell that go beyond the standard "Where are you from?" and "What are you studying?" questions. Once you have a good conversation, maybe mention some other activity that is going on later in the week. Like "You seem quite cool, I would like to get to know you better. On Friday is event X, I am going there, would you like to join?". Of course some will only look for new frie…

It is about establishing dominance because you steer the conversation. Before the girl was steering it by asking for the photo and expecting compliance. I agree with your other points, though. Those are just added benefits.

It is not about humor, it is about establishing dominance and showing that you do whatever you want. When a girl texts 10 guys and asks for selfie of them, 9 guys respond with the greatest selfies and 1 with something unexpected it is clear who will stand out. it is not a shit test, it is just flirting with her a bit.

Don't take her that serious. Send back a photo of a monkey or something and say "This is how I really look like". Then see what happens. :D

You have excellent self-reflection. I was in a similar situation once, my self worth was damaged but in hindsight it provided a great learning opportunity. You have already realized how the situation is and how it damages you. So put your own value high, respect yourself and go for option 1. I did the same in my case. It hurts a bit in the beginning, but then you realize you actually did the right thing!

The friend zone is actually an important brick of successful long term relationships. Not with this particular woman, though. It actually means that you can have deep connections with a woman, only the attraction is missing. So once you move on and find someone who is attracted to you and with whom you have a deep connection, this can become a long lasting relationships. Best is to learn from the friend zone experience and use it later for your benefit.

Asking for help is a strength! Realizing you have areas to improve like dating and then seeking advice means you take things into your own hands.

You set boundaries by not wasting time on him. Watch his behavior and not what he is saying. When he is not investing equally, you might better move on.

The questions is what do you want from the women you date? Maybe you are not ready for dating after your divorce. When a woman dates you and touches you, of course she wants to have sex with you. Declining that to her would be weird. So maybe just embrace your lust?

I sometimes make it more explicit by saying “I would like to get to know you better, let’s have a coffee.” You will have some (maybe 10%) who say yes and meet you, but then just want to be friends or act surprised that you wanted more. But this is to be expected. For the other 90% who say yes it works well. I had all my relationships and hook ups via having a coffee or taking a walk first. Added bonus: You can always cut it short. So there is little investment. Ideally, I just do it after work.

You could tease back and say “enjoy your week!” Then see what happens. 😀

It seems that you already don’t like girls who tell you “have a good one”. So you have to ask yourself whether YOU actually want to pursue it further with her.

Think more about yourself and your own value and prioritize your own well-being. How can somebody positively contribute to your life when she cannot support you in difficult situations (like with what happened to your uncle)?
/r/seduction11/04/24 08:11 AM

You just need to practice how to tease and banter with women. You can still be nice. In fact, when you can do both, you are highly attractive! Also: Try not to please the woman. Stay a bit aloof and fun.

It is important to realize that you did nothing wrong! So don’t beat yourself up. I read some of the responses here and they seem to suggest that if you did all kinds of things differently it would work out. You met her, it is obvious she is not over her ex and it still hurts her that he cheated on her. She does not know herself what exactly she wants. So just let it be and move on to someone who is emotionally available.

Be careful with “adding value” too early. That can put you in the friend zone. Better is to have the intention to simply have fun. If she responds well, great! If she doesn’t respond well, also great!

The time of the “gurus” is over. I think society would not accept a new Mystery or others whose business model is to get guys laid. That being said that men are attracted to women exists since beginning of mankind. So PUA just went underground. The techniques and psychological principles are still the same, you just need to adapt them to modern times with dating apps and general trends in society.

You have a point there. For men, my point is more that it is all about how high you value yourself. I would consider myself to be a 7 or 8 looks wise, but with personality and achievements I am easily in the 9 range. This is not to brag, but show that if you change the variables you have control over, you can get the “9” or “10” women. I dated some models when I was in my 30ies. Once you know them, they have lots of insecurities, just like a 6 or 7. They are just humans. So best is to treat them…

This 7/8/9/10 is mainly in your head, and probably based on looks. You are putting 9 and 10s already on a pedestal by treating them differently. If you really date 9 or 10 you will discover that personality wise they are often boring because everything is being brought to them. The whole picture will also change once they get older.

Red flag! Save yourself the drama. If she leaves you afterwards you feel devastated. Not to mention your kinds. Sort out your own situation first.

The point it to be non-needy. If you jump at her the moment she gives you a little attention that will lower your attraction. So best is to play it cool in the first stages of getting to know her and make her invest in you.

You need to ask questions that trigger emotions. Like what are your dreams? What are your aspirations? What makes you feel loved? Then banter a bit with her answers and tease her based on those answers. Like “oh reallly, that is weird!” You also need to carry the conversation forward based on how she responds. So don’t bombard her with questions, but drill down based on the answers.

Appreciate your thoughts, but I disagree. I can build comfort and rapport with 90% of the women I’m interested in. However, the “spark” is a bit outside my control. I can flirt with them, but if the women are not receptive to it, there will never be a good seduction following. The reason might often not be me, but her as well. So you might still get the message from her a day after that there is no “spark” even though you did everything right!

The key thing here is the definition of “good looking”. Men define good looking women almost exclusively by their outer looks. It does not really matter what clothes a woman is wearing, you will always know whether she is good looking or not. Women define good looking men slightly differently. Of course if you are a male model you are considered more attractive. But men have more options to raise their attractiveness. For example, if an average looking guy wears a well-fitting suit and is also s…

The day after the hook up, women might feel ashamed of themselves. They also might be unsure of the situation. Best follow up is a more normal message the day after. And of course not being pushy or needy.

I think it has more to do with your inner state. You probably have not processed the end of your relationship, yet. I had a similar experience. Maybe take a break from dating and focus on yourself. Accept yourself. Do things that bring you joy. Talk to guys. Talk to colleagues at work. Take it easy. This will build your confidence and happiness. Then, suddenly without you realizing, you are back in the game again.

The key here is to watch her behavior towards you. Does she initiate contact? Does she want to touch you? Does she continue conversations? All the other signs (hair twirling, smiling) are overrated. Some girls are just friendly, but nothing more.

“You are not my usual type” is the sentence I have heard most often. 🤣 Almost every woman I dated said this. This is because women often think they know who their type is, but actually they don’t. OLD can be a good supplement, though.

My 50 cents: Be real. If you like something about her, say it. If you don't like something about her, also say it. Do not try to impress her. This will build trust with her. Have a mindset that all "will come to you". So you don't need to chase. Practice. Practice. Practice. - If you talk to 100 people (also men) you will automatically become better with small talk. You can also test out jokes or your humor. For example, you will always be asked what you are doing and where you are going. So for…

I would not recommend it. Where I live it’s common to have personal connections. However, it did not work out when I tried it once and then it bothers you to see the colleague who rejected you all the time. So in hindsight I should not have done it.

From what I read your problem are definitely not the looks. It is more your “state”, that means how you feel. When you are depressed or down and somehow feel inadequate, it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. Every time you talk to women, you are kind of blocking yourself. You want to be in a light mood, playful and funny. That is very contagious. The looks almost don’t matter. How you get there, you need to find out yourself. Sometimes it helps just to take it easy, withdraw and build yourself …

I think you are putting too much pressure on yourself. I had that when I was your age too. When you talk to a girl and in your mind you are in parallel thinking what step to take next, your attention is gone and probably your improvisation skills, too. I would recommend you just continue what you are doing. Approach a girl and talk to her. Don’t put pressure on yourself to be funny, to escalate or whatever you think about. If you do this 100 times you will relax more and then you will automatica…

Well, your buddies you need to handle yourself by just telling them. When it comes to other men, you don’t need to focus on them. Focus on the girl. If you have a reasonably good conversation going, you can comment to the girl “we are getting company. Let’s see how this guy is!” Then you just keep calm. If the guy is annoying, you tell the girl “see you later” and leave her first. Later you can reapproach her or she will even come back to you.

Good point! I also realized that in the end, when I asked her whether she misses her son in the week the son is not with her. She said no. Then I also started to realize that if she is not even missing her own son, something must be wrong. Any other advice from your side what I should watch out for? Where did you meet your dates? I am in a similar situation like you.

You are right. In hindsight I don’t know whether avoiding the mistakes would have changed the outcome. I know now she was not emotionally ready. However, until mistake 2, she touched my arms at various occasions, had always positive body language, was laughing and so on. And this was in an office setting.

Excellent post. When it comes to attraction, looks are much less important for women than men think. Women care more about confident men who can make them laugh and tease them. So this is actually an advantage for men. Forget about male models on Instagram who are boring in real life. As long as you dress well, take a shower, have a haircut and look okay, you are good to go.
