I hope women’s group see the US Women’s Soccer Team as the frauds that they are. There are real tragedies for women in the world and these women selecting the wrong pay structure is not one of them. I hope there is a mass rejection of their greed, grandstanding and petulance from not only conservatives, but anyone who really cares about a just world.

I don't disagree. Swinging on a cop deserves something, but it's clear she sucks at fighting, and she could've swung all day without harming anybody. A takedown and cuffs are warranted, but I doubt they ever teach to throw a punch, for several reasons, including injury to the officer. I probably would've tazed her, to avoid any chance of scratches or bites. -peanut gallery

I just change the playback speed to the fastest that they are comfortably understandable. For her, it was 1.5. I never thought about women’s rights and obligations. I do think many women in Afghanistan and China would take on those obligations for those rights, though. I do think, also, in America, when men leave the house and don’t pay child support, women end up having the right to work and the obligation to their children. I don’t argue that anybody here thinks not supporting your children is…

Point taken-I was only thinking of America. Thanks for that. I don't know much about mandatory service in other countries and the only one I can think of is Israel where women also serve.

you must be talking about the draft, because women do serve in the military. The draft would be necessary in a large ground war, but that's hard to foresee that nowadays...although, I guess anything can happen. Even in the military, people of both sexes who gladly take pay during peacetime get spooked when talk of war ratchets up. But I do get your point. I think Bill Burr's example of being last on a life raft or last for hostage negotiations might work better here.
