Psychosomatic doesn't necessarily mean they're making the pain up or lying about being fatigued, it means that this is how their brain is responding as a defense mechanism. | 8 | Afflicted, a Netflix original serie (rant).The only genuine instance of brain fog that I've personally seen was with my brother, he became quadriplegic after being shot and having his spinal cord severed, the bullet wound was close enough to his thyroid that it caused some weird changes in his body, like how he responded to illness. He stopped getting fevers when he was sick, instead his body temperature got dangerously low.
