so you love status, status, and, wait for it, status You like the musicians that get solos, that get the attention of the crowd at a given moment. Talent? Passion? Sure, absolutely. But where's the love for the Tuba player? Like every other woman.

Sure, but what about Chad? Chad was around for me by 14, by 13, by 12 really. Certainly by 14 though. Chad arm wrestled our history teacher at 14, and barely lost, and our history teacher was a regular gym goer. Chad ended up playing minor league baseball. The women orbited around Chad, and, though he went to a different high school than me, I hear they orbited there too.

That you're thinking about it at all is a big issue. The answer is of course you should, but not plan it. IF you plan it you're making promises to yourself, and building expectations of how your interactions with them are going to go. When it comes to female roommates, que sera sera.

Nah, am not attracted to brass and woodwind, sorry (might be b/c I am a shoddy saxophonist myself). That's right. Guitar or singing, not talent and passion, status

Any half decent looking lecturer they do. You can't compare 18-35 year old musicians, largely, to 50 year old academics. I've noticed that academics often are unattractive, and I think some of the reason has to be that they are using academia to differentiate themselves and gain a sense of value that they don't get socially. Same reason so many STEM-lords are unattractive. Because the guitar implies the social value automatically, and allows the imagination to run wild. The sports bag is nothing…

I don't mean stadiums, I mean if 20 people in a room are all paying attention to one guy on stage, it doesn't matter what he's doing, he has value, and that's what's attractive.

I think women like to see weakness in high valued men because they see it as their in to get a hold on that person. A musicians vulnerability is only interesting to women if he's on stage in front of a lot of people.

I think men can hit their prime the same time women do, in their teens, and have it extend to early 40s, but that's only talking of the Chads. Women hit their primes from 14/15 - 24/25 This is the age where they opposite sex is going to look most favorably on them for the least amount. However, the best male decade is probably from 25-35 when you're talking about the majority of men.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0-WkpmTPrM First, Liars reference themselves less when making deceptive statements The story is definitely focused on his experience Liars tend to be more negative He seemed mostly positive. I think this one means more negative when making excuses, but it does just say being more negative, and I'd call the post fairly positive overally. Liars tend to explain things more simply Well, to the post My interaction after that was simple and straightforward, no repeat t…

In high school I ended up second in my class. I had a crush on this girl my sophmore/Jr year, not a major one, but more than the others, and she's the one that ended up 1st. During my jr./sr. year I had a major crush on this girl a year below me who I later found out had a 4.0 GPA. My first year of college I had a huge crush on this girl who had SAT scores within 30 points of me (not great scores, but 93rd percentile). My most recent crush went to a top 30 school, US, and completed a professiona…

TRP says that we're creatures, that we don't function based off logic based off of an ideal world. TRP says there is such a thing as human nature. TRP says that if a man gives to a woman too much, or too freely, then she will not value him, will look down on him, will be more prone to cheating on him if she's in a relationship, and will actually resent him. TRP says that women are happiest in a support role to a man. She wants him to lead, and if she's leading, she feels uncomfortable.

This really showcases how women like to compartmentalize men. They expect men to see themselves, and their role, exactly as they see it.

Your only options for making that money are STEM, going to a top ~10 school (US) and getting on that path out of college, starting your own business, Lawyer, or being well invested 20 years down the road. Only 4% of individuals make 150k+ per year, and for millenials, most of us, that's 1st percentile, as in doctor or bust

Or just not to be when young. I see so many women who can't be in the female 20th percent try to differentiate in all of these shallow ways, and one of these ways is to be a special snowflake who is sexually enlightened and accepts themselves (and everyone else should too), is funny (annoying), sarcastic (pessimistic, low brow), and stylish (looks bad in normal clothing).

If each top 1% guy pulls 3% off of dating apps, as in juggles three plates, then by the time you get to the 20th percentile guy, he's down to the 60th percentile woman. There's such a mismatch there, that even if he feels some attraction to her, he's not really going to want to be seen with her. Once you get to the 25th percentile guy, you're falling down into the bottom 25th of women, and now we're getting into the small fats and worse. Eventually you might find a woman, after trying with dozen…

If you are doing more work than you need to do, talk to your managers. That's what they're there for. You don't have to try to wreck someone, or come at it emotionally. Explain logically, with details, why you feel like you're doing more than you should be.

The biggest issue with STEM dudes is that they're nerds right down to their cores. None of them are in shape unless it's in a cardio way with a few exceptions I'm sure. They have power, but very few of them project power. They have confidence, often, but no social skills.

The fact that I conjugated a crazy functional group to an envelope protein for target-specific transfection isn't going to help me with the 9s and 10s. Neither is being a musician that can play particularly well. Being on stage is what's going to do that. I don't really get what you're getting at. There are dozens of bands in any suburban town with adequate to very good musicians that play the local scene. Past their 20s they start to look like losers to women mid 20s or later and everyone else.…

tattoos are the sign of unstable people they don't have enough confidence or belief in themselves that they have to start modifying their bodies to ensure that they're special and get attention Tattoos are whore labels. Men like whores, but they don't want to be attached to whores. Put your tattoos on in the bedroom, and take them off when you leave it

Josh went to state school for electrical engineering. He wasn't super bright, and he wasn't super committed. He quit college after 2 semesters, failed a few classes, and felt alienated from his community. Jenny wasn't super bright, and wasn't super committed. She went to college for Psychology at a state school. There's nothing wrong with what she says If you believe her I'm not really convinced that I need a man who has his life together and can pay his bills Isn't just the weasel way of saying she wants 6 figures. So when she goes for the guy with 6 figures she can say that she just needs a man in her life that has his shit together, as though there's 0 room between degenerate criminal and millionaire

I'm not going to say it's devoid of all use, but all you have to do is look at how many middle aged women are way into it to understand that it might just be serving a shallow image purpose solely. A lot of times "I meditate" just means "I get to tell people I meditate."
