i kind of agree but i think we put too much emphasis on a pretty women's life when we think about living as a woman. Ugly women don't get most of the pluses of being a women. No one buys them drinks and their friends, who are most likely also ugly, don't like going out because of it. This girl either wastes away doing basic things like watching TV and looking though a social media feed or she concentrates on achieving like men. Being ugly doesn't help her in this regard either. On the other side…

Women get caught lying about rape too often so clearly the problem is that we ask for too much evidence.

Not true. I have seen a few news about discrimination against men or whites in the news. These cases are often ignored by the left (it would reflect badly on their side) and covered by a few right wing journalists.

I agree completely. The notion that OP just has to move on bc things are not great is a weak move IMO, if you're gonna marry, own up to it. His wife is wholely passive so don't expect an active sexual role. OP can use this to his advantage and dominate her sexuality. She wants to please.

How can ideas that are so poorly thought out become so popular? The problem he does not see here is that it's not a gendered issue. Some women wouldn't mind getting kissed just like some men would feel really uncomfortable with that happening. The easiest way to explain it to these people is to ask them if they would mind if someone that they really don't find attactive kiss them (let's say a man kisses a straight man) at that point they would feel uncomfortable. The inverse would be true if a g…

Maybe it is time for you to actually do some research instead of just saying "hey who knows? Maybe it's 92.6%" yeah maybe it is but that is very unlikely given that recent studies actually cite much lower numbers (0.2%). The 20 year old figure overestimated the incidence because DNA testing was faulty and false negatives were much more likely. The 2 digit figures (20something%) came from situations where the father was already doubting his involvement in conception (Eg. Why is my baby black? / w…

Laws partially shape conduct, if you disallow paternity tests you encourage women to cheat and lie. Given that paternity fraud is about 1% it would only break apart, at most, 1% extra marriages. It would also slightly strengthen faithful marriages. Preventing people to take paternity tests to save marriages that clearly have failed is akin to preventing cops from investigating murder to lower prisoner population.

Kids are way too young to understand transitioning. This should be illegal up to at least 16 year olds.

I'd argue for the flipside, women should have to have the father's consent to abort. If he can't choose to not be a father she shouldn't either. That way you don't actually have fatherless children which are the main ill of today's Western society.
/r/MensRights17/12/18 06:38 PM

Now that you bring it up, I too thought women were better up until my teens. Funny how male kids can think that but you won't see a single girl thinking that... it's lovely how feminist project their shit onto the male gender with the "internalized misogyny" shit
/r/MensRights02/12/18 02:32 PM

Exactly. They do know it's because their decisions but try to justify that because women make more of these choices the choices shouldn't be punished for them. It's exactly like saying: men are the overwhelming majority of convicted rapist. This is clearly because the matriarchy that, knowing that men are more likely to rape someone else, punishes this crime to disadvantage men. The only fair thing is to decriminalize rape so women don't have this misandryst advantage.

If you read the article you'll find out that the guy had a criminal record. That's why. TBH I think it's fine that he get 6 years. What I don't like is the leniency for reckless child abusing. 1 to 2 years is way too little.

This whole thread is making the exceptions the rule. adult circumsition is extremely rare in itself. If any of these examples are the rule is definitely boob jobs them being the #1 medical procedure. Take onto account that men are much more visual creatures which would increase the % of boob jobs done to please your partner. C'mon man, there are so many other wars to fight. Chose one that actually makes sense.

Lol not that, but you definitely see men pressuring their girls to get a boob job. This is a non-issue and if it were an issue it wouldn't be gendered. Why don't we focus on actual problems like forced circumcision instead of an adult making their own decisions?
/r/MensRights13/11/18 03:56 PM

Also, yo being clearly a free marketeer understand that you are not entitled to free money so that is out of the way. As to persuasion tactics I just avoid labels all together. I carefully state my positions in a way where the other person is not inclined to defend their positions, bc once they are in that mentality you won't get anywhere. An example of how I do it is. I also try to avoid people's labels from affecting the way I think of them. I just assume people are …

Yeah I kinda agree with you now. I'm just skeptical to quotes that can be applied to pretty much any ideology. About how useful it is to be subjectively extremist (as for the current moral norms) I think it is better to inch your way there. For example; I'm vegan and I believe we need to have an animals liberation. But I know people are not ready for it, that's why I don't criticize meat eaters. I believe that, pragmatically, it's better to introduce people to the ideas casually. Offer them to t…

Lol ok what's your plan to free people from the burden of earning a living? Choosing not to work is still a choice. A shitty choice though. That's why people work. There have probably never been 100 million peruvians in history. Maybe though. Didn't China have communism? Mao's great leap forward alone killed 45 million people in 4 years. When I talked about the entitlement I meant entitled to have social respect and more value in the sexual market (which is the reason why men take up these jobs for the most part). You don't get those things for free. you need to make sacrifices. Men are more willing than women to take on these sacrifices because they have more incentives. As I said I wouldn't say oppressed. But I stand strong for civil liberties and its undeniable there have been times where women couldn't do many things. What you're saying is true. The 2 income model is something that has been peddled by many groups for their gain and women weren't oppressed just by not earning money. That is kind of a privilege TBH. Bud, I actually talk to people. You have never met 300 feminists IRL. Stop lying to yourself. If you see these people as evil it might be a reflection of how you treat people. I could respond but I think it is much more important to explain to you that you're not here to exchange ideas. The more you talk the more obvious it it that you think you know it all. I wouldn't say oppressed but things were not fair for women in many ways, justs as they are not fair for men today. Women's liberation was a good thing for sure. Well, we don't really focus on wing politics, so we could never call ourselves right wing. On the other side, as a reactionary movement to feminism we couldn't really go too close to the clearly interseccional left wing. But you might be right. That being said. I am not left wing and I am not espousing any left wing positions here. I pretty much haven't talked about politics here. Only a bit with this communist guy on the sub... and I ragged on communism.

That is a great explanation. In our free society, though, people make choices we are not obliged to make those decisions. No one can have it all, you can choose to not go into a low paying and safe profession but that might mean you will less desirable in the sexual market and less socially valued. Now, do you think you are entitled to those things? I don't think so but you might disagree and we could talk about that.

I'm not defending feminism, believe me. I've only criticized the ideology in this whole post. In any post of any website for that matter. I do, however, advocate for civil discussion with feminists, the people. What I've seen in many communities is when you can't find anything salvageable, no matter how small, from the competing ideology you're beyond the pale (not saying you are). So a feminist that says that men's right activism is misogyny and it should be shut down... that's beyond the pale.

What I mean, if you encountered a white supremacist, an alt righter (mind you not a really big figurehead which clearly will be impossible to convince of anything, I mean an average Joe that says "the US is for the whites") wouldn't you try to engage with him and see if you can try to disarm his ideas. I would. You might not get anywhere but maybe you just brought that person a bit closer to a reasonable…

Lol I opened with that so people would be inclined to read the whole thing and to not think that I am just a feminist shill (which I have already been called).

Sure. And I also understand you guys and your frustrations with the current system in your countries. I have lived in the US for a couple of years but when I was there I wasn't doing activism so I never really faced that. Also I wasnt in university and lived in the south where there are more conservatives. I still follow US politics closely and things are bound to turn around at list a bit with trump who might not be the best or smartest president but he definitely is going against the progressi…

Most people don't hate men. But I understand the feeling. I have faith that society will come around eventually and realize that the idea of being colorblind (applied also to gender and anything else) is the solution

The problem IMO are interseccionalist which have taken control of feminism and made them inseparable. Believe me the conclusion to their efforts are much worse than female supremacy. It's the division of people into clases aka. the progressive stack. You already see it as race quotas in universities. But I do agree with you.

As for the first part, maybe you should read what i wrote again because your citation includes the end of one idea but not the begging. Your reading comprehension skills are not very developed im afraid. Are you an interseccionalist? Because you sound just like one "the opressed have the right to hate their oppressors" it's what comes to mind with your oranges to apples comparisons. Edit: you don't know what being the devil's advocate is, do you?

Just as MRAs focus on men's issues (but trying to keep things equal) so do feminists. They focus on woman's issues. You can be equal under the law and still want to advocate for your issues. Like male fatalities in the workplace. There is no law that mandates this to happen but it's still an important issue to pursue

Ok, just like every Republican voter is a racist and probably an alt righter. Just like every MRA actually hates women. Just like all capitalists are greedy and hate the poor. Keep drinking your flavor of kool-aid. There are feminist zealots and then there are reasonable feminists. Too bad you haven't met any of the latter. You surely won't find them on the internet bc they are all normies. I am majoring in psychology which is littered with feminists. Including professors. And I consistently get…

No, we don't need to empathize with their hating men. Not even that, we shouldn't empathize with their hate. But I'm not talking about those kinds of people. I'm talking about the everyday feminist. The one that thinks they're doing good for everyone. You have to give them the benefit of the doubt if you ever want to convince them.

That's what I feared the most. You've turned into a feminist. Replace "feminism" for "male supremacy" and "feminazi" for "mysoginist". I guess subreddits are inherently echo Chambers and breed people like you.

So as for the first part, the answer for why men chose more dangerous jobs than women is based on what men and women value about their work. Men generally put much more emphasis on monetary pay, while women are more concerned about job perks and environment. So, lets talk about blue collar; a blue collar male worker would be more inclined to get a job as a electric line maintenance guy because it pays much more than a job that has equally high (or low) requirements. On the same case a woman woul…

yeah, especially in the context of rape because even if you do prove that some part of the accuser's story as lies that does not prove that there was no rape which means this person couldn't be charged with lying about being raped. So essentially the only way to go to jail for lying about being raped is admitting guilt.

I'd actually say no, not because she doesn't deserve it but for a more pragmatic reason; if she doesn't get punished for coming out with the truth she is more likely to do so, which is overall better for falsely accused men. Also, it's practically imposible to prove that someone lied about a rape.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
