Tall girls (like 5'10" and up) are used to guys being shorter than them, so they don't tend to care as much. Also, many guys are intimidated by them so they don't get approached as much. At least, this is what I've picked up from /r/tall, so who knows. For all the ones in between, no clue, sorry.

Friends of friends. Play the social circle game. I hate it and suck at it, but there's really no other options.

I know, what I'm saying is if you're 5'8" and I'm 6'8", I will need to gain more weight than you to have the same change in appearance.

If my arms are 3 inches longer than yours, and I want to add 3 inches to their circumference, I need to add more muscle than you do to achieve that gain, assuming we're starting at the same spot. Furthermore, that 3 inches we both added is going to look bigger on your arms, since proportionally you gained more width relative to size. And finally, when I am lifting, I will be doing more work than you to lift the same amount of weight, since I am lifting it farther. I kind of doubt that last one i…

Well, there's your problem. There's like 3 fucking people who live in Wyoming, and 2 of them are probably related to you. I mean, not really, but any sort of online dating kinda sucks in small markets. Tinder is better than most, but still.

Ok, so if I'm understanding you, our only real point of contention is if skinny guys can have attractive bodies. I say, "yes, but they'd probably be hotter if they put on more muscle", and you say "no". If that's not a fair statement of your argument, and what you're really trying to say is "they'd be hotter if they put on more muscle," then I don't think we really disagree on anything.

Well, for one thing it's because they're not famous. Distance running isn't exactly a sexy sport. I suppose I'm more arguing with your image that you originally posted than with your words. You are right that "athletic muscles" is sexier than "distance runner muscles", but my point is that "distance runner muscles" is sexier than "body builder muscles".

How about this? http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3510069/ It doesn't look like the intent of their study, but they do show that men think the ideal male body is bigger than females think the ideal male body is. Edit: Didn't read far enough. They use a 2-sided test and don't find significance, but I think a 1-sided test would be appropriate, so when I ran it myself I found significance. Edit #2: http://dfred.bol.ucla.edu/FrederickFesslerHaselton2005MuscularityInMagazines.pdf is also a …

http://foxhoundstudio.com/blog/fitness-lifestyle/the-ideal-male-physique-%E2%80%94-what-girls-want-want-guys-want-to-be/ Throw in some push ups and pull ups after your run to work on definition, and you're fine. I mean, you probably won't be the ideal, but guys have a much larger range of acceptable than women do, plus body isn't nearly as important.

Girls would prefer the marathon runner. http://foxhoundstudio.com/blog/fitness-lifestyle/the-ideal-male-physique-%E2%80%94-what-girls-want-want-guys-want-to-be/ Big muscles help more with your confidence than with your attractiveness. It's kinda like shoes for a girl. Medium muscles are hot, but big muscles aren't nearly as much.

If you're talking 6'0" tall, keep in mind that a 6' girl will be taller than 85% of guys she meets, and if she wears heels, that jumps to 95+%. She is much less likely to be hung up on height than a shorter girl is, since it's a moot point most of the time (sure, they'd like a tall guy, but cutting out 90% of your dating pool gets old very quickly). Also, very tall girls will get approached significantly less often than an average height girl, so you've got that going for you as well.

Or if you're in completely separate departments and never work together professionally (if it's a large company). Basically, the problem isn't so much sexual harassment (well, that plays a role too, but you have control over that, so just don't harass her; if she declines, then drop it), it's what happens if you date for awhile and then have a bad breakup. It can be VERY difficult to see a person, let alone work with them in a professional setting. That said, if it's not a career type job (like …
