Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation.Maybe if she didn't want to die, she shouldn't have grabbed a gun and shot a police officer. What is the officer supposed to do when he pulls someone over and they shoot him? | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 04:35 AM
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation. When he is getting up off the ground, you can see her throwing the gun out of the car and onto the ground. He probably didn't want to be accused of shooting a, at that point, unarmed woman trying to flee. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 04:25 AM
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation. All this over weed? Officer Baker found what appeared to be marijuana and a powdery substance in her bag More than just some weed. He also never said he was placing her under arrest, he could have just been planning to handcuff her to detain her until backup arrived because she was being suspicious as fuck. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 04:21 AM
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation. This cop is surprisingly unfit for a job which requires agility and dexterity. His job requires him to ride around in a car 95% of the time and write tickets and take reports about crimes. It's not like TV where he is chasing a new suspect every week. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 04:16 AM
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation.I haven't looked up the actual statistics but most police officers don't have a partner unless its a new recruit trainee. It's cheaper to put each officer into their own car. It let's you respond to double the number of calls and if an officer needs help, they can radio for backup. The downside is backup can take a few minutes to respond. I believe in the video his said they were about 3 minutes away. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 04:12 AM
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation.Because of the body cam location, it doesn't show you the same thing the officer can see with his eyes. If you slow down the video, you can see her throw the gun out of the car onto the ground shortly after 4:06 from the body cam footage. You can also see her throw the gun out of the car onto the ground just after 4:41 from the police car dashcam footage. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 04:08 AM
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation. She did say mom on the phone but could have been pretending trying to call someone else down there to help her out. It's also possible it really was her mom on the phone. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 03:58 AM
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation. She was shot, drove away about a block and crashed. She died later that day as the hospital. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 03:57 AM
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation. The video has a description with more details. The cop got shot once below his vest and is recovering. The woman crashed a block away and was captured. She died later that day in the hospital. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 03:55 AM
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation. She dropped/threw away her gun before she started driving off. You can see it on the ground in the video. So he probably decided she was no longer a threat or he didn't want to shoot an unarmed woman retreating. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 03:53 AM
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation.Believe it happened March 12th of this year. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 03:51 AM
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation.I believe they are effective about 55% of the time. They really shouldn't be relied on unless there are multiple officers on scene. One or more using a taser and at least one having a real firearm ready as backup incase the taser fails. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 03:49 AM
Fatal shootout during traffic stop despite numerous attempts by the officer to deescalate the situation.Even the cop doesn't shoot at her as she goes. shit is wild You can see her gun fall or get tossed out of the car before she drives off. It's possible the officer decided since she was no longer armed and was trying to flee / retreat she was no longer a threat and decided not to shoot again. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 24/03/21 03:38 AM
