8	Solipsism, Emotion & Arguments Super-noob here, so this is still more theory than practice for me, but I think this could have been mitigated by the guy giving the initial invitation. There's no need to leave the door open with "if you disagree, here's the protocol", even a reasonable-sounding one like was given in your case. It invites more shit tests (that may be the wrong term for this circumstance?) when they otherwise might not care enough if you give a more confident choice for the group.
