I’m extremely interested in this, thanks for the detailed explanation. I’ve had a lot of success in the past by being escalatory and smoothly calibrated with touch, always utilising a bit of push and pull back so it isn’t just relentless. Having read some post history, I get the idea this is possibly a school teacher. My advice if so is the opposite of the above. I'll leave the original comment in case my intuition is wrong.
