| 3 | Anybody else graduate from a program in STEM and still cant find work?The software engineering market is relatively shitty right now but still better than most industries. Earlier today the creme de la creme company (in terms of historical prestige/exclusivity), Airbnb, laid off a quarter of its staff. I doubt any tech company can hide from these conditions on a long term basis - if they persist through the end of the year, I'd imagine even the cush employers like Google will start layoffs. Doing both at once allows you to stay in the game indefinitely. I only buy diversified funds at this point. Now should be a decent time to buy. But I ain't selling.
