the only place a man should be safe is in a maximum security prison It's actually a very good quote when taken in its full context. /u/Lrellok kinda cherry picked it a bit. “Probably the only place where a man can feel really secure is in a maximum security prison, except for the imminent threat of release. The problem of recidivism ought to have shown young men like John Greenaway just what sort of a notion security is, but there is no indication that he would understand it. Security is when ev…

You're pretty naive if you believe that the garbage that gets shared and supported on Facebook doesn't have an effect on society.

I knew exactly what I was walking into when I paged down to the comments, but I just couldn't resist. Fuck these people.

I absolutely agree with both parts of this bill. The purpose of the income limit is to ensure that it's not just one parent getting paid to be a parent. The second part is absolutely awesome. I'm proud of my state. We elected walker, but damn if this doesn't almost make up for that. My city (eau claire) doesn't follow the Duluth model, either.

I do not believe people are born to sleep with a specific type of person. I think it's a choice This mentality right here is what makes you a piece of shit.

A prostituted child doesn't know who will exploit them next. But they won't have to go very far.

The responses on that post are pretty typical, which is really sad. I'm from Eau Claire, so I'll keep an eye out in this area as well.

Was it the article by Louise Pennington of the Huntington Post? If so, here's the link: http://therealsgm.blogspot.com/2012/11/walk-mile-in-her-shoes-just-bunch-of.html

I actually used this argument on a female friend of mine just last weekend. She went through a breakup a couple weeks prior, and was in full-on man-hating mode. Her statement (right in front of me) was "All men are stupid, lying assholes." I put up with it for a bit, but the ragging on my gender continued. So I threw in this little tidbit: "All women are stupid, spiteful cunts." The rage from every woman (and the one other guy) in the room was quite impressive, and I nearly got thrown out of the…

After reading through all of the responses on this post, I've come to the conclusion that you believe the justice system to be so bad that you need to lie to get anywhere. This has been said in multiple comments, but you keep replying suggesting dishonesty. Don't do this. Don't ever fucking lie to the police, your lawyer, or any kind of court. That's a hornet's nest that you must never touch.
