In the South Asian community, there are plenty of male gold diggers though it's not acknowledged. These men, who are often low on qualifications, look for women from certain professions, notably nursing, when they are searching for a spouse. Or be just about friendly, but not over eager. I have a friend who always has at least one girl around. 10	Friendship with straight males is a lie Sadly, I agree. Whenever a guy & I became close friends, sooner or later he'd get attracted, like 85% of the time, & that's the beginning of the end of the friendship. Sometimes a guy is interested, but I politely refuse & we decide to be friends. One fine day their attraction stops, & there the friendship ends. 10	Proud of myself You did well. We tolerate disrespect & second rate treatment when we are attracted to someone, & they know they can get away with it. We should put ourselves before our feelings.
