My grandfather was on Omaha beach at D-Day, trust me when I say I meant absolutely no disrespect toward anyone in the armed forces by posting that. I didn't create the meme, I merely found it elsewhere and decided to cross-post it. I'm sorry if I offended you in any way! It really wasn't meant as that kind of post.

Lighten up man, I intended no disrespect. I saw it on /r/images and thought it was relevant here. I was more curious as to what discussion, if any, it would spur. It's not intended to be disrespectful toward anyone. Clearly there are both men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for this country - it's more a statement about the draft.

I take your point, but we also must be careful not to embrace all those claiming to be MRAs on the sole basis that they identify as such. I don't condone activists who perpetuate an "angry male" stereotype, or who counter arguments in the way he did. I'm not saying that anyone who does agree with the video is wrong in any way, it's just my own personal approach to advocating for MR. Something about the way he broke down the video just kinda irked me.

I commented on the actual video itself. This is not what men's rights should be about. It should be about bringing balance and equality for both sexes and trying to STOP the BS arguments and attacks on both extremes of hyperfeminism and hypermasculinity.
