Thats exactly part of the journey of life. The balance of risk and reward. In order to practice you have to be vulnerable and risk the pain and suffering. Sometimes it will suck. But sometimes it will be neutral. And other times you will get lucky… and after time you will realize it was natural and you can see in a system rather than individually.

Lets say you are more friendly (know the person more or just have a better connection)… have you had instances of them playing along to be nice? Have any info on discerning ones that are playing along? I know the answer is to not worry and charge forward, and react based on what you see. But wanted to see what ppl had to say

Think of vulnerability as a risk but also opportunity to connect. It is risk/reward like anything. You have to risk saying those “cringe” things because that cringe may be justified anxiety because you are being vulnerable. Practice opening up even if cringe. You may find it fails and then maybe you can rethink how you said it, and reword the vulnerability next time. And it may be girl/person specific.

By the extreme logic, you could say we will all die anyways, why not take a chance to enjoy life

I think it is the competition mindset we have. Too much focus on succeeding in seduction with maximum optimal efficiency. It forgets the emotional and softer aspects of this “fun” “game”. But to me its about the person, the person is fun not the game. The game ( whatever the hell that means) is usually a social framework to stage the showing of each other skills or abilities as well as learning each others’ communication style and learning to improve communication with one another. Communication…

So i struggle with this because i don’t like the comparison game, and have a lot more “collaborative” a style. For me relationships (once i am in them) are very natural and easy. But i am in a phase where i want a few friends and to focus on growing my social connections etc. but i think your mindset helps because there is a reality to the “marketplace” or “economic” aspect. I still can use my less comparison based framework but you really helped me see how i will assume things because of pretti…

I think it is the nature of power… not necessarily gender. Its hard to shoot for attractiveness for men and women because it is the most sought after usually (or attractiveness + “ducks in a row” or whatever other parameters. It is just an aggragate of categories in my mind). To have both there is less to choose from so more competitive. But we all value different things and categories so it is a difficult optimization game.

That affects sexual attraction. This can too but a woman can just lie about it and u can live in this desirable virgin fantasy. I think the main point someone made is it can signify a lack of self control…. But people can grow and change. I think these are outdated ideals because we didnt understand STDs and also because of jealousy (which most people ignore or dont accept they can have). I think the thing that is rediculous is the hypocrisy of your statement. It makes logical sense but is assho…

Why torture people (it is likely to breed jealousy, or the jealousy is already there). Just let it be and if they feel better feeling alpha why not let them feel good? If they are rude to you that’s different, ask for respect or stand up for yourself/respect yourself. But get laid because you want connection/to have fun. That’s being the bigger person right?

I feel like a good analogy is when some dudes carry around guns or body armour… to “signal” they look tough. These women are “signaling” their seductive power or sexiness… but like you said may not be wanting the approaches. But would welcome a hot guy or someone interesting if they were open to it. Thats my guess

I think this was the final puzzle piece i needed. I really appreciate your response. I think the crazy behavior is the uncertainty for those who don’t understand what these things mean (i had held it inside while i practiced and asked on here… or at least best i could 🙃). I feel that if they taught the appropriate knowledge that it may help alot of men with feeling less crazy. There will always be those who are purposefully unethical, but i think the fast technological changes (and resulting rap…

Do meetings just mean different instances as in 2 sets of 3 girls. I assume not meeting the same group multiple times. And how are you choosing the person to get the number? Just pick one? Get em all depending on the vibe? Or could asking them to choose(im assuming not this one)

Yeah i thought you meant 100%, but i do think because of the changing norms of society (women working etc) what is attractive for instance is shifting to be less extreme than this 99% level. You are right that it is harder (from what i read) for intelligent/successful women, but that is because they also have higher expectations and intimidate some men. I think the time away at the job (less quality time available) may be less valuable than the success or resources it provides for women. I dont …

This stuff has never been quantified dont act like it is universal lol. How do you explain cuckoldry fetishes if submissive is always weighted and valued the same. I think there are generalizations that can be made accurately but not in a monolithic way. I was more thinking intelligence and success can definitely be attractive in women. On average i think they dont give as much of an attractive boost compared to men having intelligence/success. But ur going to have people with less common prefer…

These are the stereotype based on the asymmetrical nature. Guys also value meaningful relationships. From my perspective it seems most women are seeking LTR anyways, so its easier to de prioritize. I did not have as many casual sex encounters when younger (which more women have likely satisfied earlier in life), and so it still has value to me (separate from the testosterone difference that affects this too). Do you think it is fair to say you may have had a different attitude to casual sex (jus…

I think there is knowing and feeling/experiencing. I think women may know of it but do not understand what the scope of the problem. They will never feel or understand the experience (except for lesbians?) in the same way. Just like how us men will never understand the scope and experience the predatory nature of men (on street and otherwise). All relative and exceptions apply etc etc

Thanks. Followup, how long do you go for or is there a minimum or maximum time you shoot for at resturaunt/cafe? I can’t instinctively feel a good endpoint for hangouts in general but especially in a casual context

Yeah its on the man, but im wondering once you have the right signals (touch barrier, staring at eyes and mouth, sexual talk), do you want to focus on changing location to apartment, focus on escalating to kissing then changing location to apartment? And should i just ask everyone back to apartment after first date with the signals i mentioned? Better to be slower on first date wait till second? Do you assess who is looking to hook up outright better over time (im sure). Just trying to connect t…

So im starting to finally see it. Ease into sexual topics until she does then its on the table to talk about (again in a calibrated way). Are there any things to avoid or do once you get to that stage? Was wondering what is left on first date or a third date. How to know when to pull on a first date? Or should i focus on waiting until third unless it becomes obvious (and what is obvious someone wants to go back home with you). I want to learn how to assess hookup signals better ot maybe its some…

The issue i have with this wording is, some of us (me) are not use to being romantic or sexual with normal people. So you have to either get advice thats more specific, or try a bunch of things on your own and deal with shame and embarrassment

I have similar issues. Maybe formulate a few topics you like to talk about ahead of time for when you get nerves. Also focus on what she likes (ask what hobby or movie/song show etc), and expand upon that. A book told me one method is to pick keywords out of a certain story and then shift it to a new random topic. If she is talking about how a kid was doing her homework in school, segway and say “oh man I didn’t ever turn in my homework, were you a goody two shoes in school or did you do anythin…

I’ve had some success, not as much as you. But i think some of us will have heightened anxiety. Practice and experiences will lower that anxiety and remove it entirely like for you. But another approach is to accept that you are going to be like that and plan accordingly. Also practice in that anxiety state so you can sit with it more. Its to get out there and do it especially when you don’t want to.

No you are being lazy. Just read the books so you can be confident in what you are doing. If it isn’t just performance anxiety then you need to focus on getting her to your bedroom because you said you’ve made out before. So beyond what I said it is reading ways to get her back there. Which i would say just practice saying do you want to go back to my place or watch X show at my place? If she says no dont worry about it try again next date/hangout or with a different person until you get a yes. …

Read ‘She comes first’ book. Seriously just read a few books on how to please a woman, then you can be confident. You can then lie to yourself if you need to but you can just focus on being a horndog. Thats my strategy for you. Know how to do all the right foreplay, drive her crazy before finally getting in there. 1) know the “technical skills”, through reading/research. 2) focus on being horny and her body and nothing else. Shut that brain down. Focus on boobies. In a way mindfulness which remo…

I’m taking a complete guess here, and it might be worded incorrectly. But based on the stereotype of Men(masculine) being the pursuers and women (feminine) being the pursued… you could say its not about attraction but my guess would be you are not recognizing the asymmetric aspect of dating. Women (again i am generalizing from my standpoint), do not approach because 1) they don’t have to. They are more defensive and concerned with screening threats as they have plenty of romantic interest (again…

Hey i feel i’ve been working on being more social too. Im anxious but decent at being social at the same time. Its weird. But firstly id say dont worry about being a virgin! Id think its hot but you can read some books (She comes first is one i read as a guy but can help you with communicating to a guy maybe if u are worried about that at all). Could you give an example of something you can pick up from a dance partner that translates into potential information about a relationship? I thought that was very interesting but never had that insight before. Also any advice to get over dance anxiety? I’ve been wanting to do more dancing, but unless it’s a structured class my go to is too much alcohol. Fascinating read for all your comments here, love your perspective.

Be more aloof (or more balanced/slow). They are assessing trust and have had experiences (this is me guessing) of other men liking them right away then they jump in bed and get burned. Its a logical situation of being pursued first (on average) which comes from social pressures. Thats what you can think of in order to not exude neediness or whatever. Also they don’t want to feel as commited just in case and if you give signs like you are lovestruck that can worry them because who knows maybe you…

Haha i haven’t cracked the code yet, but that’s sounds awesome. I feel like this shows an example how with women they can sometimes move on quickly and you have to capitalize on the moment, which u did. Thanks I appreciate it. Just need to fight alot of anxiety. I think what had me extra self conscious was dancing with her in front of these two guys(that were her friends). I don’t think i wrote it correctly… i did not stalk her. I more noticed her looking at me then followed(or approached as you say) to the dance floor and she seemed to be giving off good vibes and even danced into me (as in grinded her butt into me). I don’t know for sure. And i did make conversation (asking what she did for work and a few other small talk things… but didn’t know where to go from there) I ended up freezing up, getting nervous and leaving. I don’t really get hit on either. Completely different because i’m a guy but it does suck sometimes i agree. But if you flirt with some guys, some will flirt back. It may not feel as rewarding because maybe you think it isn’t them approaching you… but that it still will feel good and then maybe you will start to subconsciously give off a different vibe and that will make people approach you subconsciously. Part of me is telling myself this, i think we all need to put ourselves out there more
/r/seduction16/09/21 02:19 PM
1

Yeah that makes sense. I think it would be easier for me to go in w that mindset of kiss focus rather than back to my place focus. How many dates do you do like this then? The cliche 3? Also im assuming based on feeling but if u wanted to set a guideline when starting out?
/r/seduction01/09/21 05:50 PM
1

No i think it was after the touchy feely arm around moment because that made me think it was a good sign to. But at that moment i was freezing up because in my head i was thinking she wants me to kiss her (she even said ahh you look like you are overthinking). I felt awkward cause it felt really public and im a bit shy but maybe i should have went for it. It absolutely sounds like the better time to ask to come back though.
/r/seduction31/08/21 07:07 PM

I already did a peck on the lips to end date #1. I think i just get confused knowing how to read when to ask someone back or if i ask her back after date one if i need to wait to not seem so pushy.

You could try to convince him that you enjoy it he might be into it. It’s hard to fight the mindset that makes you resist “dominating” someone. But if he is thinking it’s for you… it might help. Maybe not but that could be the right framework

That makes sense. Do you see any issue going to the same bar repeatedly trying these things… like looking slimy or gross? That’s one thing that makes me a little hesitant to practice this more often is gaining some kind of reputation. I’m finding i am a bit behind the curve reading these social situations. Also do you find there is a better time to close girls? Like later at night because they want to enjoy themselves for a bit, or maybe earlier so you have some time to build rapport, or it does…
/r/seduction27/08/21 05:34 PM

Thanks this helps alot. My guess is the bar is just the more practical course of action, unless you are flooded with girls on the apps and can sacrifice 90% of them. Which maybe i am in that situation but still need to grow an abundance mindset (I’m working on it).

How did you transition from bar to your house? A simple want to get a drink back at my place? Also for the girl you sensed was pretty into you, how would you invite her directly to your house? (I assume from Hinge/bumble)

After joking, flirting or touching, you just ask her back to your place? What words do you use? I was in an instance where this girl was into me at a club for instance, started interlocking fingers and seemed to be into it. May not mean anything but how do you suggest escalating to bedroom here? Should I have whispered let’s get out of here? She was also grinding w her friend in this example. Thank you for posting this. It’s exactly how i’ve been feeling getting out of a LTR and feeling so lost, and i’ve always felt like i missed out on college years of fun and irresponsibility. I want to be “irresponsible” now but i’m afraid everyone around 30 is done with that… and idk if younger people would allow me to integrate as well. What confuses me about this... is say it backfires on her and he doesn’t go for her... and she just put on this competition in front of her BF. Isn’t that going to strain the relationship? If its not that valuable to her j understand its a risk/reward situation. And even if BF puts up w that... won’t she be less interested because of BF putting up w that? Idk lot of confusion how this plays out positively over many iterations but id love to hear another perspective.

I mean look at all the men that leave and then remarry younger. It isn’t just resentment but I think it might be a part of the messy reality as well. Edit: i think temptation is more the issue. And it can grow bigger if there is resentment. But temptation will always be there when it presents itself and as you age that risk probably becomes greater if you arent as commited. Oh stop, people here take things too seriously. You can be upset post breakup, i think the issue is making it so public because of the wrath of the interweb. But as long as she gets over it and doesn’t mention it or have the attachment when it matters it should be fine i’d think. Now if she puts him on blast publicly that’s a different thing.
