| 1 | What would you tell your 20 year old self?I'd have told myself not to get married just because I was lonely and wanted to have sex without feeling guilty anymore (married at 21 after only knowing the girl six months). I'd also have beat some sense into myself and covered NMMNG | /r/askRPC | 03/08/20 04:23 PM |
| 5 | Anyone familiar with Tony Dungy’s stuff? It is very good indeed. Does anyone know how to submit devotions/Bible reading plans for the YouVersion app/Bible.com? This would make a good study, especially as it is 100% focused on Scripture and avoids the RP jargon that either sets up a barrier to outsiders or causes the message to be dismissed out of hand as misogynistic. There are several plans on that app based on complementarian books, but I haven't found a single one that's based on biblical patriarchy (if you have, please comment here… | /r/RPChristians | 24/07/20 03:08 PM |
| 9 | Feeling discouraged with many churches' support of the Black Lives Matter movement, including my own.. Are there any truly alt-right/conservative churches left that don't buy into this?My sister's church set up a shed in the parking lot with signs on it saying "Black Lives Matter", "Love Wins", "We're here to listen", "tell us how we can do better", etc. They call it a "reverse confessional" and she posted about how proud she was of her church. I wanted to vomit, rend my clothes and weep, then cut down an Asherah pole. (Then again, I expected as much of her church as she's openly fornicating with another member and the pastor says "well, all we can do is pray for them" like Sc… | /r/RPChristians | 02/07/20 02:54 AM |
| 2 | Who should disciple women?Thank you for this. I always appreciate how much time you invest in your posts to help us. | /r/RPChristians | 09/06/19 03:56 AM |
| 3 | Who should disciple women?I personally do not currently disciple single women one-on-one as I have struggled greatly with sexual immorality and recognize I'm still susceptible to temptation on that front. I'm working on getting myself and my household in order first before sorting out others. | /r/RPChristians | 09/06/19 01:33 AM |
| 1 | So I’ve finally committed to lifting so I can be the Christian I want to be, I need help. It’s the one place I’ve always feared and haven’t committed to.Awesome, thanks for the tip! | /r/RPChristians | 03/05/19 01:21 AM |

It’s the one place I’ve always feared and haven’t committed to.Instead of the SL app, download Personal Training Coach. It's a one-time $10 purchase for the pro content without a subscription and it covers at least a dozen weightlifting programs. It's a much better value for the money and you can still put all your old lift logs in. | /r/RPChristians | 02/05/19 05:17 PM |

It’s the one place I’ve always feared and haven’t committed to.Yes, do your lifts first so your muscles use all the glycogen stores. That way all your cardio will jump straight into fat-burning mode. I do five minutes of treadmill sprints right after my lifting and all the sweating is almost as good as a sauna. Crank the treadmill up to 8.5mph at a 12% incline while you're straddling the sides. Set an interval timer for 20 seconds run and 10 seconds rest for 10 iterations. As it gets easier, either add iterations or up the speed by 0.1mph each workout. | /r/RPChristians | 02/05/19 05:15 AM |
