First of all: source. Second, I'm not sure how this is relevant to my oroginal argument. Misogyny isn't somehow relegated to men exclusively, and you can't argue that men murdering women for frivolous reasons (even if you feel like blaming other women for it) is somehow not misogynist.

That's interesting; so it's actually womens' fault that they're the only people being murdered, BY MEN, for being cheated on, or having sex outside of marriage? Also, I think you misunderstand what misogyny is. It doesn't matter that someone told you to kill your daughter for having been cheated on, it matters that you murdered her.

It's overly simple, yes. But I think it's fair to say that short-sighted is saying that misogyny isn't why men join TRP. TRP spreads hate, and a lot of it. Men aren't drawn to TRP because it spreads a positive message about masculinity because TRP is spreading exclusively toxic masculinity. That's possibly true, but we're talking about why men join TRP. I think it's reasonable to say that TRP preaches hate, that's the over-arching theme of TRP ideology. At some point, if you've removed yourself from that environment you have to admit to yourself that you joined because of your own personal misogyny.

Often, yes. Have you ever heard of witch burning? Or honor killings? These are examples of women being killed for purely misogynist reasons. Furthermore, women of color experience different forms of misogyny than White women do. These identities intersect to make the experience much more oppressive than the experiences of people with fewer non-dominant identities.
