So I see what’s happening in the video and I agree that they are playing with the dog. My take is that it looks like a text book image of what I thought I wanted in life. It’s a mirage though. That’s what I saw in this.

It’s because you start falling from the mountain top as hypergamy kicks into gear. It’s an inevitable process. Evolution will have the best suited for the environment. No way around it.

I don’t think it’s about choice. Nobody chooses to see the facade. If you wake up and see it, suddenly the world changes. If you don’t see it, then it’s the status quo in this mean world that would be better off without all that toxic masculinity. When I started learning and reading and seeing the truth of male/female interactions, there was no choice. Over a short period of time, life changed drastically.

I like your idea and don’t forget that this already exists in the Community Info link to a certain degree. There’s so much good information already gathered, and accessible with hyperlink, and arranged under various categories. I believe we should provide information and knowledge so that men may choose to live their lives accordingly, with their eyes more open at least.

It’s about them wanting to fuck but feeling shitty because they want to fuck. You’re possibly coming off too intense. The intensity can freak a girl out if she is still in her head. Relax in those situations, make fun of them getting all “prudish” on you, show that it doesn’t matter, go back to less intense making out or whatevs, and see if they still resist. If you get butt hurt about it, that vag clenches closed. They will honestly watch you to see if you get upset when they say no. If you do,…

I would agree with the attention and validity seeking. I would disagree with you on the main point because of one sad but important truth, Solipsism. Everything about their conscious world is self-focused. Women absolutely resonate with having IT be about them. Why else do any sacrificing unless it’s ultimately for your own reward. They can’t fathom another viewpoint. If they can see another viewpoint logically, then actually having any empathy for that viewpoint is almost nonexistent. I will he…

That’s the funny part to me. It sounds ludicrous when you have a man acting like a woman. There would be absolutely no compassion for any man who acted this way. But a woman doing it gets alimony.

I actually believe that over time his stance will change as he understands the truth of it more. His whole approach is to understand the truth. His take on MGTOW has already changed as he has had to wade through the cultural misinformation first. I actually think his assessment is correct from the alpha standpoint. I don’t believe he grasps the reasons why beta males are the way they are but all things considered, he’s closer to truth than the majority of college professors in the social science…

I’m not “going MGTOW” so much as refusing to play the role of beta provider. I’ll provide for myself and would happily share my world if it were a partnership. The reality of what I see before me is sad, lonely, and heartbreaking. So I’ve walked away from the reality of all I’ve ever known and still struggling to create a new reality. I don’t believe I’m easily built for solitude. I love my own space but it feels empty without others in my world. Damned if I do, damned if I don’t. So I’m forging…

I get that completely. In fact I don’t think he could be handling this issue worse. His passiveness is perpetuating the problem. However, ALL of it is caused by mom having this raging asshat do her passive aggressive dirty work for her. That mother should be helping the kids see their father. He should take that vid to an attorney and take her to court to force something legally. Bet he doesn’t have a dime after all the child support and legal nonsense of the divorce.

Yes. The key is to catch yourself engaging in the “auto-pilot” thinking that will start as soon as the emotion starts. When you have meta-cognition, basically recognition of your own thoughts, you will see where your thoughts are then driving yourself further into the pattern of anticipated failure. So essentially you need to catch yourself doing it, then intentionally give yourself counter thoughts. It’s a bizarre experience to watch yourself do it. The mere act of seeing it helps stop the patt…

If you can find other unrelated activities in which you can pair nervousness with success, you might be able to condition yourself to expect better performance when you become nervous. I believe it’s classical conditioning. If you’re familiar with Pavlov and his famous dog saliva experiment. You might have a history in which that nervous feeling has become associated with failure.
/r/TheRedPill01/05/18 05:10 AM

I believe it might be related to your belief that nervousness is a signal for you to halt. What if you found a way to have that nervous feeling turn into a signal of positive anticipation instead of dread?

One of the most basic things had been trying to correct my posture. Going from a hunched over, head forward and down position, to trying to walk with my chest up and shoulders back position has been eye opening. 99% of the time i had shitty posture. Now aiming for 93% (figuratively speaking). It’s borderline maddening trying to correct unconscious behavior. There is no difference between my posture and personality. After reading the article I found it interesting how the concepts were framed. I think you can argue that they have named the lack of using logic as intuition. As if someone came along and tried to argue that one had math ability or unmath ability based on how much they knew their multiplication tables. If you got shit wrong then you would have high unmath skills. It’s not that you lack math skills, you just have high unmath skills. So if you can’t logically make decisions then you rely on intui…

As a white man all I’ve heard and been taught my whole life in regards to women was a lie. I was taught to be a pussy. Taught that acting that way is what women wanted. Taught to constantly seek female approval. Taught that assertiveness really only applied to girls. So when you look at the feminization of white males, maybe you should recognize that it has nothing to do with character. It’s culture not skin color. And it’s not going to take long as a shit ton of men are waking up to the fact th…

Oh I’ve learned that the world doesn’t give a shit about fairness or justice. What exists is what works. I’m saying that your story of your mom suing you legally because she didn’t like your behavior sounds dishonest and untrue.

Your mom did not sue you as a minor. If you were being abusive you could have been charged with assault or battery. A minor does not get sued for misconduct, especially by a parent. This sounds like complete bullshit.

So you felt alpha as fuck after the woman got you kicked out of the bar because you hurt her feelings? She had you removed. That doesn’t seem like much of a victory. Im glad you stood up to her. I’m glad it made you feel better. Someday the world will laugh at a bitch acting like that in a bar again. I have visions of the world looking like something out of the RoadWarrior before that happens though.

That’s an extremely narrow view of things. Most MGTOW are here after having some significant negative personal experience with women. Of course they are “whiny bitch boys”. That’s how they were taught to act and handle their world. Like a female. What kind of person puts a fat person down for showing up to the gym to start doing something about it? The bitching and complaining comes from existing in a society that has no use for them except to take care of women. MGTOW is all about doing somethi…

I agree there’s nothing wrong with it. I don’t agree with that assertion. I think MGTOW incorporates all the options for men, from hermit to marriage. The difference is in knowing the true nature of things. It’s one thing to play the game when you have no idea the rules, another once you do. Many men realize, once they know what the rules really are, that it no longer benefits them to play that game. While others prefer to use their new knowledge to continue their pursuits. Either way is MGTOW t…

MGTOW is absolutely the answer for any man that it IS the answer for. Your own way could very well be exactly as you described it. MGTOW does not mean asexual living. It means men gathering knowledge about how the world really works and then finding their own path. Just because many have decided no mas, does not mean all need to decide. Each man needs to choose his path. It’s how we roll.

In my own life, almost all of my failures, or awkward encounters had to do with complete ignorance as far as how the whole dance really worked with women. My assumptions and knowledge of women was based on media, TV, movies, cosmopolitan articles, and my female relatives. All that misleading incorrect bullshit really led to a couple decades of confusion, hurt, and misunderstanding and 2 failed marriages. Of course she determines her own level of interest. It sounds like we are arguing two different points because I agree about not being an ass when interest is not reciprocated. What makes me aggravated is the expectation that men show no interest in her when she’s not attracted to you. Approaching behavior is acceptable and encouraged (if she finds you attractive) on a personal level, yet is punished when you are not. It’s more than men just being assholes and not taking no for an answer. It has…

So as a man you don’t get to try unless you’re worthy? And who determines this worthiness, the woman? If the woman determines who is worthy to attempt to engage with her, how does she let others know before they commit the horrific act of trying to hit on her? What a load of shit.

OP is asserting that there are objective measurements that show, despite women having everything, they are miserable and getting worse. Or they are happy as a clam. Either way, not giving a fuck makes them irrelevant to your own happiness and contentment. That’s why you go your own way.

I get sick of posts that make fun of someone aging and looking worse as they get older. Reminds me of shaming a man for being short.
/r/MGTOW11/01/18 11:29 AM

How am I shaming women? For 40+ years of my life I genuinely looked up to women. Shaming? The person you told to “be normal” is doing their best to actually understand what that is and how they can have a normal relationship with a woman. The shame is that that so many of us men have been taught incorrectly on how to be a man. It’s not a coincidence that this coincides with fatherless upbringings and feminized culture.

He didn’t ask to be born and I would bet (assumptions based on his behavior) he was raised by a single mother who has shit on his father his whole life. I would bet the guys dad is not in the picture. Most likely because mom is an overbearing mom’s-unconditional-love, to the rescue type of woman. She’s most likely shoveled feminism and a female way of living and seeing the world (solipstic subjectivity) until you have before you the (fe Male). He needs the red pill.

Fair enough, I don’t exactly resonate with that but my entire life I was very BP/ and women worshipping. I hear about sexless marriages and all I can think is they both want to fuck other people. good chance she is.
/r/TheRedPill17/12/17 09:37 PM

I would love to hear your experience. My own experience is also the only thing I can really know the world from as well. I appreciate your response to be honest. I’m not joking when I say I don’t know any man who left a relationship due to her physical appearance. I’m not saying justified and no judgement on my part. I know many men who’s wives got really heavy and they did not. They’re not in happy marriages but they’re in it nevertheless.
/r/TheRedPill17/12/17 08:56 PM

It’s because when she’s your wife she wants to go to bed early, have you tickle her back with no escalation to sex, etc. If you think a woman is giving you an accurate accounting of what’s really happening in that house you are sorely mistaken. Imagine being able to watch video of the interactions. You really think guys are turning down their horny, “honey please just come fuck me” wives? That old comedy Married with Children, closer to the truth at least.

I honestly believe women are subconsciously programmed to try and break their partner. They want an unbreakable man. That’s the way you know if you have one. I have seen the worst female behavior when he’s at his lowest. So to be objective. My understanding is that males are much more likely to cheat on their partner when she’s pregnant. So touché feminists, Beat you too it. We’re all smart apes that are still biologically driven pieces of self serving shit most of the time.

This is shows a complete lack of understanding of male attraction and sexuality. Seems you also have zero experience being in a ltr as a man. Instead of explaining men’s behavior from a female perspective you might look at it from the male perspective. Men are not fortunate at all just as women are not fortunate at all. The genders have opposite trajectories. There’s pros and cons to both every step along the way. As far as men “leaving” the bedrooms? Unbelievable mental gymnastics to make that …

Hell, I’d be ready to go fight the world again. By year 9 there was no longer an attempt to even hide her disgust at my insecurity or struggles. She had become contemptuous of my full on Beta/BP nature. Any moment of weakness just seemed to add up. Eventually after 10 years it’s a big list of weakness. It just adds up over time.

Almost all of the comments have been deleted. I laughed reading the bottom comment discussing some confusion with correlation and causation. Ironic.

I don’t believe it’s helpful to look at it as either you are, or you are not confident. I think it’s more accurately described as a moving spectrum based on circumstance. To gain confidence one experiences a certain level of proficiency at increasingly more varied or difficult frontiers. It helps me knowing I’ve passed levels 1-4, when tackling level 5 for lack of a better analogy. Frame is the mindset that one is capable of success when the will is focused on the task. The harder the task, the …

I love that place. It helps me see how pathetic my internal struggles are. Helps put me in my place. I never considered just up and going out into that solo though. Something to consider. Thanks for the post.

Maybe we should all quit giving this so much god damned attention. I’ll start with downvoting any post that mentions them vs MGTOW and no more comments in posts on the subject. Do what you want.

I would agree with you that women do not enjoy being looked down upon or to feel inferior by others. If you agree with the hypothesis of hypergamy. Then it seems reasonable that a superior male would trigger attraction regardless of whether or not she liked the person.

So that was 20 years ago. Since then there appears to be a significant amount of more work done. This paper summarizes many of the integrated ideas well. The references in the paper are significant. http://labs.la.utexas.edu/buss/files/2013/02/The-Mate-Switching-Hypothesis-FINAL-PUBLISHED-2017.pdf

This is not factually correct at all. You are describing women’s behaviors towards someone they are ALREADY attracted to and in a relationship with. Women absolutely show zero attention to a male who is below her on a social scale. I know social scale numbers are subjective but since solipsism rules the hen house, her personal social scale dictates who she considers and who she ignores. That considered group is the potential males that are better than her. She wouldn’t find them attractive or po…

What if the current Bible story of Adam & Eve got interpreted incorrectly? What if Eve really was Satan all along. What if the snake was really man's lust and women's ability to manipulate that lust?

I'm a gen X. I grew up in the 80's and I noticed that theme way back then. It's just gotten more and more pervasive. I challenge anyone to sit through any 4 random hours of network television/ commercials and keep track of which gender/race the dunce is in a commercial.

You defended her by attacking his post. Does he sound like he is bragging? Yes. Does it appear that you're putting him down for his "conquest"? Yes. Am I defending him? Yep. He did something that works and explained how he did it to other men. All you're doing is attempting to shame him for beating his chest. While his style doesn't suit me, the content is appropriate for this sub.

Serious question, what do you suppose you are doing trying to white knight some woman to another guy in this sub? Have you thought at all about what you're doing? What are you trying to get out of moralizing his behavior?

More of my reflections on how 1-sided my past relationships were with women. I was always expected to be supportive to them and when the shoe was on the other foot, nothing. An emotional black hole.

I think Islam is as terrible to the human experience as the far left feminist movement. Between post modern feminism and Islam, I'm deeply concerned with Western culture. The scientific advancements that have occurred in the last century for the betterment of mankind could be wiped out of existence if those 2 ideologies continue to power grab all at the expense of men. I don't think going their own way means going off on their own. I believe some choose that route but I don't believe that's the most helpful for myself. Not certain as I'm still trying to find exactly what my own way is to be honest.

The only thing I care to give up is being society's fool. A society that benefits the intrinsic value of one gender (females) and utilitarian value of the other (males) gender is fine if both sides get to reap the rewards. However, that is no longer happening. All of the reward for utilitarian efforts by males can be stripped and transferred to women through the legal system. It's basically the opposite of what happens in Sharia law were women count as half to a man. The intrinsic value of women…
/r/TheRedPill21/06/17 09:09 PM

MGTOW is not about giving up, at least as I understand it. It's about moving on with a new perception after one has come to understand the real harsh truth of reality. It's about accepting the reality that life cares very little for you as a male individually. You only have utilitarian value. MGTOW is about handling that reality.

I would agree with this statement.
/r/TheRedPill09/06/17 04:48 PM

Do you even care to understand why that is stated? It's not stated out of trying to be insulting. It's stated out of observation. Women mature earlier than men and have a big head start to emotional maturity. They peak early but then basically flat line after adolescence. Where as men have a slow steady climb that continues to grow into late life. And why shouldn't most men give up on women? Most men are viewed and treated as disposable means to an end. Ironically, it's most men who are objectif…

Find yourself a LTR. It inevitably is going to be very painful. Nothing teaches like experience. Don't get married. Unless you want children. If so, understand you are taking a huge risk. That being said. I love my 2 sons. They're the only people I really am concerned about now in life after 2 failed marriages and not getting to see them grow up. Nothing teaches Red Pill like running the gauntlet.
/r/MGTOW09/06/17 07:22 AM

If you're going to post in MGTOW, please have the decency to read the material that is the bedrock and foundational knowledge of what MGTOW is about. If you've read the various books and essays and you still don't get "My wife, like all women, is an emotional teenager", then you don't understand what you've just read. Not that you have to agree, but you would at least understand what this is about.
