2	Yes, Video Games Are Terrible For Your Personal Development Its a tough reality, but i agree with OP. I feel most people fall into a routine that feels good, and if they can "Unwind" or "Kill and Hour or Two". But all your doing is wasting time, opposed to creating an interesting life.
