If she has a controversial political opinion, yeah sure

A person with a large follower base and a controversial ad received rape treats for stating her sociopolitical opinion. When I was a teenager I was arguing over some stupid shit on the internet until one day a guy added me on myspace and treatened to beat me. I'm pretty sure people who dont even open their mouths receive similar treats if theyre popular enough. its the internet

No one demands anything, it's people sharing their opinions.

You enjoy their company but when it comes to giving something back (in this case, being honest to someone who believes he can trust you) you backpedal and try to justify it. It's such a textbook example of one sided friendship with a girl

So you enjoy a friendship where if you were honest with them it would end? Sounds like a one sided friendship.

Unless you're using the guy why would you want to remain after that?

In the end you're trying to make yourself feel better about lying blatanly.

I don't think you should speak in the name of every women on the Earth unless you agree with AWALT (which I guess you don't)

But you aren't ignoring the topic. It's not like he asks a question and you ghost them. You lie them. You don't solve their problems, you don't avoid their problems. You only make their problems worse. What makes your friends a friend if you have no respect and cant be honest with them?

So they're good enough friends for a lie but not good enough for a honest answer? This would be the definition of friends? Not lying to someone requires a very deep connection meanwhile those casual friends are free to stay in a confused state as long as they don't bore you with their problems? For me, it feels like you don't care about their feelings at all, neither their chances of improvement in the future. Wonder what makes them a friend then. Listening to your complaints?

You don't care about those guys' feelings at all, otherwise you would give them constructive criticism that heavily implies the fact that looks do matter and maybe help their future. You want to keep them as beta orbiters for your emotional/financial needs. I appreciate the mental gymnastics where in the end women does nothing wrong of course.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
