Also there’s a big difference between going to a hobby group or meeting someone at work, getting to know them over some time, and then hooking up versus just going straight for asking someone you’ve just met or barely know out on a date. OP says it’s unacceptable to approach women at work, but people sleep with their coworkers all the time. It’s just there are better ways of doing it

Yesterday you claimed to have a gf who slapped you on relationship advice. Guess that was just mgtow fanfiction then? edit - like how you admitted it then edited your comment to act like you broke up, smooth

Yeah, not only have I not found most men to be as rude and disrespectful as OP suggests (I suspect they’re projecting), I’m just really enjoying having a bank account and choices lol

I’m a woman (you can check my post history). She’s definitely prettier than average, sorry.

Nah, that woman is above average - clear skin, ok looking hair, pretty symmetrical/nice face, slim. Especially after makeup/hair - she could easily be an 7 or 8

Who says he’s buying that woman everything and funding her lifestyle like he would a sugar baby? My point is that if you’re an old, unattractive dude who wants a hot twenty five year old, you’re probably gonna have to pay for it. If you want to date someone in your league (looks, age, wealth), then you don’t have to compensate and you can much more easily find an economically even relationship.

She gets money, he gets to be with a young hot girl. I don’t see it as predatory because essentially it’s an exchange. These men know this - that’s why they agree to buy these women bags and cars and stuff, they know what they’re offering her and that she’ll leave without it. It’s the sugar baby situ - both parties get something. Of course, I’m talking about women in their twenties who know what they’re doing.

Both men and women warn young girls away from old creeps. It’s not a jealousy thing. There’s a reason most Dads don’t want a thirty year old dating their eighteen year old daughter, even other men see these men for what they are - predatory. As for the money thing, I really don’t care if a hot young woman takes an old man’s money, I’m not going to white knight for him. That’s essentially the deal the man made, is it not? If she’s ten times hotter and twenty years younger, he knows (or should kno…

Probably an even worse decision for women, who often end up leaving or taking extended time out of work or education due to pregnancy/childcare. If you’re a woman who is married and pregnant in your early twenties, there’s a very real chance you’ll end up divorced ten years later with little education, work experience and earning potential. Even if you want to be a housewife, it’s worth having something to fall back on.

a young, ripe woman I have no idea why people call the men of this sub creepy /s

the problem with that sub is whilst some of it is fair criticism of people who really belong in r/choosingbeggars, the other half is just shaming women who are older than 30/single parents/not conventionally attractive for no reason other than that they decided to set up a dating profile. Nothing wrong imo with people with kids, or who are older or who have a bit of extra weight looking for love, men do it all the time and theres no sub dedicated to women going ‘ew, a forty year old chubby dude …

I dont know bro, I majored in archaeology at undergrad and although its been a few years, I’ve never heard this ‘theory’ of yours thats supposedly widely accepted lol

there’s literally no way to tell how common rape was in prehistory. Archaeological records dont provide any evidence and there are no written sources. No idea where youve got that from.

So he can ‘string them along’ and basically use her for sex, waste her time and lie to her that he wants a relationship, which is apparently fine and not totally psychopathic lol. He also says later in the post her purposefully manipulates women who havent even done anything. Honestly it’s posts like this that make me roll my eyes whenever men on this sub say shit like women don’t have empathy or take advantage of men. There are shitty people on both sides.

The hobby thing isn’t a gendered thing - it’s a hotness thing. If you’re a ten you can be into any weird/geeky stuff and people will think of you as interesting and different. If you’re unattractive, then you’re weird. This is true for women too - you think ugly or overweight girls who are into star trek get praised? To some extent this is also true for dressing unconventionally or in a gender nonconforming way. Ruby Rose and Harry Styles get away with it - other people, not so much.

I’d land somewhere in the middle here. Pushing someone’s head down once and backing off when they’re uncomfortable is borderline. Pushing someone’s head down repeatedly whilst they struggle and push against you until you come - assault.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
