I'm thinking if you can manipulate them well enough and bait them into giving you what you want it'll come off as advantage. I write informal, fast, and shorthand online. There are far more important things to scrutinize than that. I didn't say it's all rote memorization but a huge portion of it becomes that. Yea, same here w/ the calming affect and it also stopped me from having any social anxiety/awkwardness. I got better with procrastination by slowly pushing myself and forcing myself to do a little each day of whatever I had to work on w/ meds. With meds I was able to structure my routine and work slowly towards forming positive habitats/routines and that's how I worked on procrastination. It still comes back to bite me in the ass at times but nowhere near as bad as before.

Both of you are right in some ways. I have adhd and adderall calms me down, but i'm 23. It also coordinates my mind so it works more synergistically like i'm not constantly distracted or grabbing stuff or walking into rooms and forgetting things. There is some information on ritalin which is different from adderall/amphetamine which in some cases does have different affects on the adult and child brain.
