Was at a conference while in college, lots of other colleges there. I was in a group with my classmates and a few students from another school and we were tryna decide on a place to eat. Everyone was arguing about where to go when suddenly this cute girl from the other school comes up to me and goes... "Hey, there's this oyster bar at our hotel, how about we ditch them and just go there?" (We previously talked about a shared interest in oysters). Not even a flirt, but a blatant direct shot attem…

Dogs are a plus to have on your profile. But don't mention the dog isn't yours unless its brought up in conversation.

You asking for a kiss wasn't the problem. You most likely conveyed neediness either through the way you asked or through other actions throughout the date, or both. Asking for a kiss isn't fundamentally bad most guys just dont know how to do it without sounding like a desperate chump

False. Inner game is literally just being comfortable who you are and owning up to it unapologetically. You dont hold your tongue because it may upset someone, you don't hide things you like because others may find it weird, you don't automatically assume people will dislike you because of reason x,y, and z. It's basically recognizing who you are and what you like, and making it your "shtick" in a way. You dont have to add or take away anything from your current personality, arguably other than …

Time. Let this be a life lesson. Even if you did nothing wrong to cause this, at least you gain strength and fortitude from it. I fell in love with a classmate over the 6 month covid break in 2020, we talked otp every night, sent each other gifts in the mail, told her i was a virgin and she couldn't wait to take my virginity. We hooked up the first night back on campus and she ghosted me the next day. Haven't heard from her since. My only advice is to not put your feelings in too quickly, even i…

Bro ive never been the social type either. The most asked questions people say to me is "why are you so quiet?" "Whats wrong?" Because I'm mute as shit and unapproachable. I never even kissed a girl until i was 19. All the social skills I have i learned from youtube, forums like this, and just forcing myself to talk to people. And even still I'm antisocial as fuck. But to help you out, there's nothing inherently wrong with asking questions but just dont ask boring one word yes or no questions. F…

Personally, I dont go into a first date trying to ask questions and "get to know" the person. I usually just focus on having fun and building attraction, seeing if we vibe in a playful way, whether we can bounce banter off each other well, etc. This keeps the mood light and the conversation flowing naturally to different topics instead of "what do you do for fun?" "OK next questions, do you want kids?". That shit makes a date feel like an interview, especially since most of the answers to the qu…

Only if your social awareness is so poor that you miscalculated a woman's interest in you to such a degree that she would press charges at just your attempt to kiss her.

"No" "I disagree" "that's not true". Feel free to explain why you disagree if you feel it's warranted. Don't care about whether you come off as cocky or not. As long as you're not belittling anyone and have an open enough mind to be aware of when YOU'RE wrong and be able to accept new information, then who cares whether the other party(man or woman) thinks you're cocky.

Your last paragraph is great advice, thanks. Worst part is in the moment I was thinking to myself "logistically this isn't sounding smooth". Should've gotten the number and planted seeds like you said. I know better now. I'm moreso upset that I texted(in such a childish way) but then again i don't think it fucked me completely.

Nothing outside of friendly. Never made any escalating moves on her and she never gave me anything that signaled "more than friendly". I'm totally attracted to her and im sure it's mutual attraction there but I never made a move because I was told by others that she has a boyfriend(but she's never brought him up before).

'your' girl? Or are girl you've only met a day or 2 ago?

Doing it: risk coming on too strong or coming off as an easy simp Not doing it: no risk involved, as it is perfectly reasonable to not send vanlentines flowers to someone you've only been on 2 dates with. If there girl is upset at this, then I'd say you dodged a bullet, and you could even use her upset-ness to your advantage by staying in frame and telling her that it's only been 2 dates. She might be upset but she will respect you more for it.

Depends on numerous factors. How long have you been dating her? How old are the 2 of you? Do you believe those feelings are mutual and reciprocated by her? Regardless, in most situations neither of those alone are good options.

You have to become outcome-independent. You have to realize she is just a woman, a human being, not some prized one of a kind angel. Regardless of how the relationship turns out, you will still be as secure and confident as you were before and find another girl. Honestly I have no advice on how to achieve this, but I'd definitely recommend not texting as frequently, especially avoid goodmorning and goodnight texts until yall are an actual official couple, do not send stuff like that or expect me…

I have to say, it's not the same thing. At all. The commenter's suggestion lays out the problem and the solution concisely and comes off as a "take it or leave it" offer. Your message, while still conveying the same idea, is a long winded explanation and with too much investment("heres the plan for our other date!" "Only if you want to 🫶"). It comes off as if you desperately want her to respond and you're giving her too many free outs.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
