Whatever you do, don't call her every day and make her feel like you're grasping at straws while she's off getting shitfaced with her high school friends. You're home, you have shit to do too, old friends to visit. Keep busy this summer, keep loose contact and just generally be a badass and the summer will fly by. everything will fall into place if it's meant to be, you have no say in anything she does while she's a thousand miles away.

IMO grow a pair, you're on the right track, she called you; just keep doing what you're doing. Fuck that guy, there are a million reasons why you're better, pivot the conversation away from him to the good time you'd show her when you take her out or whatever. Just KNOW she's attracted to you, you got her to call YOU, take that as an IOI. Also keep the text and phone calls short, the busier you are, the more she'll be interested. We do our best work in person.
