My grandma lives a few miles from the house in question. Franklin is absolutely gorgeous, but my grandma has been living there for 50 years, so in the last 20 she's watched as all the rich stars build houses there so they can have a small town feeling while they commute to Nashville.

I've never said women can't do anything. Likewise I never said gender equality in and of itself was juvenile, but gender equality on the battlefield is juvenile. War is, literally, the physical expression of your nation on another nation. Were I operating a nation, it would make sense to draft men first, women as a last resort. Absolutely we could. It does, unfortunately, come back to the physical situation: men are, on average, larger and stronger than women. What are you going to do when a platoon of men comes bearing down on your company of mixed gender? You would have to be prepared or significantly better armed/trained to overcome. Look, I understand the sentiment behind this post but at the end of the day... do you want a man able to carry 200 lbs of gear on the front line or a woman who weighs half as much carrying half as much? If it came down to the draft (in the USA), I know I wouldn't want my size 2 sister out there trying to lug around a rifle that weighs half as much as her.

Just remember: sexism and bigotry isn't sexism or bigotry when directed at men. Follow that rule and you still might get sued by some vengeful woman. You didn't necessarily do anything wrong, but if you were a threat to her in the remotest fashion than watch out.

Its basically the same reason men can't really work with minors anymore. I mean you can... but you put everything on the line for the one time a parent decides to 'get back' at you and have their child lie under oath. Men are vilified without reason and no one cares to do anything about the feminization of America.
