Wrong ex. 2 different ex's

The most attractive thing about her was that she immediately picked up a few pieces of trash that were just around her when she sat down. That alone made me want to talk to her.

This was a conversation from Thursday btw, and with a different girl than the one I have a date with. I probably worded it poorly in my OP.

Thank you, it helps to hear that from a woman's perspective. It makes things that much easier/clearer when you reinforce that.

I asked because it was within the context of our conversation, because she mentioned that her last ex was a disappointment in bed. Neither of us were interested in rekindling anything, and we were always very open about previous conversations/events. It just wasn't the answer I was expecting

It's a good thing that she's her and I understand her expectations. I'll have better luck smoking a joint with her near the river than bringing her to a restaurant.

No chance fam. Dinner for a first date is a recipe for disaster. Coffee or the park is what we agreed to

My cousin (who witnessed the whole exchange) sent me message immediately saying "THAT'S WHAT I'M FUCKING TALKING ABOUT. YOU SLAPPED YOUR WHOLE BALLS ON THE TABLE IN FRONT OF BOTH OF THEM". It was a good feeling

You misunderstand, I'm not in any competition with my ex. By her going about things that way, she forfeited the right to be angry about it. It wasn't about getting back at her at all. It was about me finding this genuinely awesome person and not missing my chance to exchange numbers :)

That's entirely your decision and life choices, I know exactly what I'm getting into here buddy

My ex moved a man in with her after only a couple months of dating, and she had another man's number 4 days after we broke up. Needless to say, her opinion is largely irrelevant to me.

Oh absolutely, I'll joke about my inflated ego but that's only because she and I clicked so well. We're the same type of weird, we both spend nearly every day wearing only pajama pants, and she completely breaks the mold of who I normally pursue. She seems genuine, but even moreso, she seems happy to just be. All I know is, I want to see her more. We're meeting up on Wednesday (unless we decide to meet up at the park again with our kids) so I'll update you guys then.

Well, maybe you could turn that into something to meet people. There are people who learn ASL just to know it, and I'm sure that you could meet people in an ASL class. Also, for what it's worth, not everyone will be looking for a hookup. I am using online dating to hopefully find a serious relationship. Please just realize that for 99% of guys, it won't be a dealbreaker that you can't speak. I certainly can't think of any friends who would say "I met this girl who's into X, Y, and Z but I don't …

Jesus these responses are awful. Get some therapy and be honest with whoever it is you're dating about your emotional baggage. Yes, you can fall in love as part of the healing process, but it shouldn't be your end all method of healing. Work to improve yourself and your emotional maturity, find a willingness to be vulnerable, but accept that not every relationship will be perfect and not every person you fall in love with will be the person you should be with.

Literally just accept that you, her, and everyone else who has ever encountered you ever will be dead within roughly 70 years and absolutely nothing whatsoever matters. Then approach her, get her number, and have a good time getting to know her.

Step 1. Go to bar or club Step 2. Approach guy Step 3. Say "I may not be the prettiest girl here but I'm the only one talking to you" Step 4. Sex

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
