I do have faith in my lawyer and hopefully with the abundance of evidence, I should be acquitted. Though I do think she will face zero repercussions. There are more than enough stories if you google it but realistically everyone believes a girl when she cries and plays the victim card. What scares me is how the legal system leans in their favour. My lawyer told me that in all cases they arrest the guy (or at the very minimum ask him to leave), even if the guy is the one who calls the police. I experienced this part first hand as well. Police can get records showing it was sent from her phone, and if it can be validated, then the charges should be dropped. I'll only be able to do so after the case is over Ill have to pay a lawyer to do so My lawyer has recommended against it since no one will charge her (even after the police heard all the evidence) According to my lawyer, if I do it myself before the court, the crown will simply just keep pushing it back and back and never actually act on it. Get a good lawyer, go no contact with her. You can arrange for a common friend to pick up your items with the police. I'm facing something similar.
