Putting it bluntly, a biochemistry degree is a dime a dozen now. You'll never make 6 figures in 4 years with just a biochem degree, and many biochemists who don't go onto their PhD will never reach that milestone. Quitting school to go find yourself or some form of that bullshit is beta and should be avoided in the healthcare professions.
