I am not too well versed in RPW, but I don't think it necessarily equates femininity w lack of economic participation. I think it's about one's attitude and the way a woman carries herself rather than her economic position relative to a man. I could be wrong on that though, in which case I will disagree with the RPW stance on this front I guess.

I was just trying to figure out how to cross post this! Breakfast is such easy work comparing to shovelling snow in extremely cold temperatures. Read his follow up tweet, too: "My wife is amazing, both at home and at work. I'm eternally grateful for her and everything she does. I love her very much," he said in an emailed statement to CBC News. It reads like he "loves" her and is grateful for her only because of what she does and the labor she contributes. Later, Cynthia tweeted for the first ti…

Great! I think that's all you need to know. Whether or not other people would be okay with it doesn't really matter.

never mind what he's saying - is that what you truly want? I highly doubt it but you need to ask yourself that

I like that. Thank you. To clarify, I don't think it's good that I don't have a strong personality and prioritize pleasing others, I was just identifying them as potential reasons that my mom and my sister found the husbands that they did.

I should have provided this in my post: they are both definitely not female losers, they are financially independent but you are right re: low standards and little boundaries. We came from a culture where mental health is seldom discussed. It's also a backwards culture, where standards for men are really low. In fact, many women back home have it worse than my mom and still didn't divorce. My mom's choice to divorce was heavily criticized even though my dad was/is a shithead. My mom was the negl…

Wow thank you. Your words make sense. I feel like I kind of know this, but I really needed someone to tell me. I will start implementing what you told me.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
