The man had been a nice guy but a regular drinker and borderline alcoholic (Not abusive though). He ended up getting a kidney failure, and needed a transplant. Now those aren't cheap, and getting one through the donor's list could take ages. His wife spent every last dime to keep him alive. EVERY LAST DIME THAT SHE OWNED.
