I'm proud to say my wife has been learning to produce and she's made a mind boggling variety of Christmas cookies.

I asked my dad once why I hadn't been invited to anyone's events. He asked me "how many events have you organized and invited your friends to?"

Seems like Hollywood is made of aliens sometimes. This applies to a type of man I know know almost nothing about. If I, and men like me are engaged in a power struggle, it's one to be the most confident, and secondarily unique and interesting. Go ahead and say, found the guy who doesn't lift, but it's true I don't, none of the guys I know do, and we are all doing fine, most in happy relationships.

It's probably more of a phase that people have sometimes than an epidemic. Pretty normal to want a wide variety of of things in life isn't it? Especially those you've never tried. That's said, I do consider a chronic lack of ambition to be a problem.

I've found Japanese women to be more likely to make the first move (than American women). Maybe it did change them a bit.

No, I would think that's a gross overreaction.

A few days ago a right wing professor got fired for making a similar rant on the internet (against other groups). This trend of firing over opinions is bullshit. If you say something dumb, your employer ought to be a little more realistic and come up with a appropriatepy small punishment.

How do you use a wingman, and how do you be a wingman?

I'm always a little surprised at how many people are not using their phones and computers for everything, but to each his own. I personally like the idea of the phone doing all the tedium so I can just do the fun parts!

She actually does have her values really straight. This girl single-handedly got me off my ass and into the gym every day.

That's a harsh judgement for so little context. Sure the vegan is actually a bit of a stupid child, 6 years younger than me. The third girl, might as well have said "I'm too good for you, go away", but she pulled some other reason out of her ass to be nice. But the second girl, who told me she couldn't handle a relationship cause she's all self-loathing and stuff, that was not a hopeless case. I called her back today, and she was excited like she didn't miss her train after all.

I asked her to hang out again today, looks like she's into it :)

It makes sense. But the truth is, it doesn't seem like they were lying. They had to produce an answer and came up with some silly reason and then they stick to it, so they won't look like liars. Eventually they come to believe it and even act on it. But it doesn't seem like they were lying because they weren't actually hiding something.

I'm just an amateur but I think kissing is as you leave is too wierd. I prefer to try and kiss her sometime earlier. Usually after telling her I want to go sit outdoors. Also, if she smokes, I'm going to find out then, and smoking is a complete deal-beaker for me.

In the case of the second girl, Yeah I had gotten to know her pretty well. We had been on three dates, I kissed her on the third. I was asking her out to a fourth date, to comedy show. She had a night or so to think about what had happened two days earlier. She said almost verbatim "I know if I'm with you I'm going to want to go further" which is totally true. But then she decided out of the blue that she can't hack it in a relationship because she's too insecure.

Thank you. That's the impression I've got, so I just move on immediately.

I'm making a new OKC profile. How the hell do I stand out?

One girl who likes me right now is too fat. She has a lot of other redeeming qualities, but I don't want to go out with her. If I did I'd be faking any physical attraction towards her, and that get's old. But second, her weight has been the cause of her lack of self-esteem her whole life. That causes real problems like random crying and breakdowns that I don't want to deal with.

What's so bad about your current friends? I wouldn't be so quick to throw them out. Everybody has a good side. You can meet new friends and continue being kind to the old friends too

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
