This right here is a demonstration that is 100% my experience with modern women. The theory of hypergamy does not explain this behavior at all, in fact hypergamy would predict the opposite. These women are going out of their way to be degenerates and destroy their own lives. It's not an accident, it's not a mistake, it's a conscious act. Employers essentially only care about the bottom line. If there are qualified workers, no one cares if they are male or female, especially in the work from home economy, when no one knows. Employers care about who is going to get the job done, who is trustworthy, who is dependable, who cares about attention to detail, and that just so happens to end up being men 80-90% of the time in REAL high stress (high pay) jobs.

There was a point in my early twenties when I realized that people see the world from objectively incompatible perspectives, and from their perspective their thoughts/actions are perfectly valid. You can't sit down and reason with people an an objective manner because they don't take in information in an objective manner. You have to first understand their reality/perspective. Then you can speak their language.

It depends on the area. A lot of big cities renting is the way to go if you want to save money. Buying means morgage + tax + insurance + condo fee. Condo fee is a small rent payment. Might as well have the opportunity to move if you get a new job or don't like your neighbors. Outside of that, I agree, morgage is better.

I agree with OP. There are a lot of modern women like this. A lot of people are disagreeing with OP, but OP is definitely on to something. My history is similar. I agree entirely. I realized that grad school and academia was all kool-aid, hype, and trend-following-bs. I couldn't just present data as it was (objectively). I had to put narratives that didn't exist into the data (data science). Left for corporate and now I do less hyped things that actually matter. I'm also making way more money.

I agree that there is a glut of devs, but if you put in work and specialize and or demonstrate value, your career can take off. What he's saying, and I second it, is that if you grind correctly you can 3x your salary in 3 years in software development as long as you put the work in, polish your resume, and leverage your initial experience to get a job in fang. You can go 80k to 250k. Its not easy to get into fang, but very doable.

I've been a Dev for only 3 years, so I have a smaller picture than you, but in my experience the culture and hiring practices are very different between teams in the same company. If or when I get to your level of seniority, I would want to get into management because then you can decide who you hire, and have full control over the micro culture. Maybe I don't see the big picture, but that's my perspective.

I'm 29, but I have developed a sense of confidence and patience. Given enough hard work, I can continue to build myself into what I was meant to be while the world continues to burn around me. Women have become more and more invisible. I also see women more and more as "temporary". You can enjoy them in the moment or ignore them, but it's a complete waste of time to invest anything. I can agree that it's dumb and a lot of independent thinkers will not like many things (army). I'll add two tips that I use. Set your smart phone to record EVERY phone call. It's very easy and may not always be admissible in court, but in 1 party states it is, so just do it by default on your phone. Record conversations in person. Audio is all I do. I have a female boss and live in a one party state and I audio record EVERY meeting.

If you think that the USSR vs. Germany war was avoidable, you don't understand the ideological situation of world war 1 or 2. fascism didn't magically spring up in a vacuum, it was a direct response ("reaction") against Marxism. On top of that, The USSR and Germany all had claims on the same territory dating back to before world war 1 (what is now modern day Poland).
