I've heard of guys getting permanent damage to their junk from jelqing. Something like permanent erectile dysfunction. There's no way of telling if you are prone to getting it. But once you get it no more boners, for life, brah. Be careful. I only meet the 2nd condition, damn.

I attended a number one ranked LAC and can say I saw some glaring examples of AWALT. Even the girl I dated during my beta days (my whole time there) dumped the hell out of me the moment I showed my vulnerable side to her. She, and all of her friends had crushes on me and would straight up ask my why everyone liked me (some straight-up told me it was because I was so handsome). She told me she had daddy issues and even gave me some real obvious signs -- now at least -- she wanted to hook up with …

Never tell a girl you think she's cute unless you're incorporating some kind of Amused Mastery (i.e. cute feelings-logic because she's terribly wrong about something). Outside of Mastery situations, I guess you could reserve the word cute for when she is blatantly trying her hardest to get your attention and actually being really cute for your sake--this is once you've already won her over, though. After you tell her "You can be cute when you try", scratch the back of her head like a dog, smirk,…

I'm genuinely addicted to learning foreign languages. Like, I could never see myself quitting. Ever. The girls love it, but then freak out when they realize what a recluse you have to be to learn so many languages.

I replaced videogames with guitar with great success. If you pursue a passion intensely enough, sometimes you can make a pretty big return. My old Japanese high school teacher saw me play some very technical Heavy Metal at my school's talent show. I shredded it so badly, she inquired to see if I would teach her daughter and a couple of her friends electric guitar over the summer. Imagine that, a high-schooler living in the ghetto getting paid $60/hour over the summer to play guitar with cute lit…

Thanks, brah. I'm an Atheist but do identify very heavily with Buddhism.

It really is a question of reaching Nirvana. I think it can be achieved, but not in the religious sense. I just think it's more about not having anymore questions about the nature of the human soul and coming as close as possible to understanding the makeup of your own soul. There is a catch to controlling your ego, though. You must be educated. If you can make the connection from Math to Literature (XKCD reference), you're all set. If not you have A LOT of work to do, to understand these connec…

Thanks, brah. Really, I use the same "method" with every skill I've acquired. I you haven't already, do research into memory and cognition and learn the basics of committing knowledge to memory (i.e. spaced repetition, working memory, myelin). Language-Learning is one big memory trick. You have to optimize your time and effort so that your progression is steady but super efficient. It just so happens, computers are great at doing this for you. In my case digitizing everything I use to learn -- b…

I've been eternally in Monk Mode and I'm not sure I'm ever going to stop. AKA the story of a loser turned human Being the son of a seemingly autistic beta father with zero social skills and a spineless, compulsively lying mother, I was super socially awkward so I always felt people didn't like me and had really low self-esteem, while being super quiet. I had a seriously warped sense of humor and, thus, basically 1 or 2 friends in elementary school my whole time there. I decided at a really young…
