I wouldn't even say the issue is that she's a single mom...I would say that the issue is that she absolutely does not have her shit together.

While I get your point, its not completely misleading in the sense that there is absolutely no reason that a seven year old should be allowed to "transition". If an adult is doing it voluntarily, then that is their business...but this kid is seven years old. Thats crazy.

Good. Comparing this sub to some of the others is stupid. To be honest...none of those should be shut down either...but lumping TRP in with subs that deliberately attack others doesn't make any sense.

When this discussion comes up, I reference two things: Provide me a company name that pays women differently than men that have the same job title, experience, education, and tenure at the company. So far I've received zero answers Glassdoor provided a study that essentially referenced #1 and found that the % of women's salary to men's at the same level and company is about 96%. Its not 100%, and the fact that there is a shown gap sucks...but there are plenty of factors that go into, some of whi…

Wow, what a bitter, spiteful, and manipulative cunt. Good for that guy, and good for her family.

Well it was an open relationship...she would still expect her boyfriend to pay for her hotel, duh!

Someone thinks way too highly of themselves...a generous five that wants a ten.

Is that true though? I feel like if that were the case, hot dog eating competitions and video game playing would be higher up on that scale.

My guess is that she tried to explain herself and described the guy. Whether or not she said he was a 10 and a lot of muscle I don't know.

Similar scenario although not quite to that extent. I've always been an open person who jokes around with people and prefer being up front and direct about things. At my previous job, several conversations were had about things I had said...one was asking for feedback about a manager of a job I was interested in, apparently it made others "uncomfortable" asking about it in public around others. the second was joking with one of our VPs (a woman) about hanging out with the team, I mentioned her "…

I think you're wrong about the cheating. I would be surprised if she actually cheated. I think its a validation thing more than anything else. Keep the beta around for the validation and the gifts.

Google embraces that culture and promotes that kind of behavior...I don't feel bad for them at all.

I don't have any pictures of this woman or any credentials...but I would be curious to know what "improving myself in every way I can think of" actually means. Was she working out? Was she successful in her career?

This is what I was thinking...she offers an entitled personality and a full time job where she probably makes 30k a year...No thanks.

Pretty much the same here. Its kind of a shame too, because there are several that I work with that I think are pretty cool and would be fine to hang out with and joke with...but its just not worth the risk.

I treat women completely different that I work with...its just not worth the risk. I like my job, I don't want to get fired because of an inappropriate joke.

I hate to tell you this...but she won't be kicked from the gym. He may apologize and do something to make it up to you...and maybe even fire the dude that works there...but nothing will come of the fat chick. If they did, she would go to the media and social media and it would create a big problem for the gym. That being said...in for update.

That, and because women still shoot for men on a higher rung of the ladder, the bar is automatically set higher to that bottom 25%.

They were hemorrhaging members...this was their attempt to stay alive and keep a member base. I don't see it as progressives attack them and them bowing to social pressures.

And she doesn't come off as "I want him to be working and striving for something" it sounded like "I want to know he'll be making money so he can buy me things"

geez, she sounds a lot more stereotypical feminist than i thought haha. i mean equal as in equal treatment in societal senses (pay, jobs, legal, etc). anyone who thinks the two sexes are actually equal are silly geese :o

oh...yeah, that would annoy me. i don't think we would be friends

Your sister could be a feminist who is actually concerned about equality...not just women getting everything and men being pieces of garbage and thats why you guys have a good relationship haha.

Sucks that your sister seems to have followed in her footsteps...however, good on you to have done the right thing and got out of there. Keep working hard!

I don't have any specific characteristics, its more like a gut feeling and the vibes that I get from them. I don't bother in my apartment building elevators because for the most part everyone recognizes everyone and people here know me. But if my gut says "wait for the next one" I don't mind hanging around for a couple more minutes. Its not worth the potential shit storm that anything would create. I thought I was pretty weird, but it looks like i'm not the only one.

not even a kid either....if i'm around and some obviously insecure and angry chick is giving me any kind of look that just irks me the wrong way, i also get away from that too. its just not worth it haha
/r/TheRedPill08/05/15 06:41 PM

I don't do anything to help out small kids unless I know them. If I'm on an elevator and its just me and an unsupervised kid gets on...I'm off. I'm not about to put myself in any kind of situation where someone can accuse me of anything.

If it is...all the more reason to support them. I saw the feminists on Twitter losing their shit, so if it was all a work, they got them all to bite.

I don't even think renouncing feminism matters that much, its more just finding someone that is open minded to other types of thinking. It just so happens that most feminists aren't haha

I will say you've always got an advantage over a lot of people in the fact that you've got a chick that also thinks logically and makes sound decisions based on presented evidence. There are a lot of chicks that don't do that, and no matter what logic you actually bring to the table, they don't care.
/r/TheRedPill03/04/15 05:53 PM

Just make sure you stay strong...it sounds like you're doing great, but don't relapse!

thats a lot of assuming. i would rather find out for sure before jumping to conclusions. i think its very logical that he just wanted out of the relationship and this was his reasoning for finally going through with it. for all we know, she might have gotten really fat, but in the instance of divorce that reasoning wouldn't have worked.

Ehhh, even if its true, it doesn't sound like any of it was recent or while they were together. Of course the lying is silly, but thats a long time ago. If anything, he probably could have worked it into a three way for himself.
/r/TheRedPill24/03/15 05:24 AM

I honestly don't think anyone will care. Based of what I've read in this article, and being a small liberal arts school, did it really have much academic credibility?

“I’m really comforted by the administrative response,” said Kate Hilts, a junior. “It’s really nice to know that my school supports survivors and listens when they say they don’t feel safe. Rape culture is indisputable and [True’s] words and actions are deeply upsetting. They’ve retraumatized and triggered survivors, and that seems antithetical to Reed culture.”

i think this thread is a bit of a generalization, but i do believe that men and women see love differently. one of those indicators is marriage....marriage is by far and away a chick thing, if chicks didn't want to get married, i firmly believe the majority of men would be perfectly content in a relationship without marriage.

apparently poorly, but at least she acknowledged it

She realized that he was willing to throw it all away because that was how little he actually cared. She wanted to be vindictive and he called her bluff.

I'm ok with it...I enjoy going out with my friends. There is a line though, and if its crossed, then bye.
/r/TheRedPill08/03/15 09:34 PM

Best solution to this...if you enjoy hanging out with them, don't talk about chicks with them, because all its going to do is annoy you. If they keep talking about chicks, then call them out on their silliness until they shut up about it.
/r/TheRedPill02/03/15 05:22 PM

that would be a bit of an exception, yeah haha
/r/TheRedPill22/02/15 09:07 PM

Eh, if she wants to have a friend zoned guy that she hangs out with, I'm ok with it to an extent. I'll make my opinions known about it, and a guys intention 99% of the time. The rest is on her. If anything happens, I'm out and its her fault. There are no apologies and making up and taking anyone back, its over.
/r/TheRedPill22/02/15 08:52 PM

And what if she told you she wanted to be more than friends? Would you tell her that she's crazy and you wouldn't consider that because she's just a friend?
