The wise thing to do if you are already married in cases like mine is to just suck it up. I was married for 14 years and my wife cheated on me. I separated. Like a fool I let her leave the state with our kids while I finished my contract at work. Then when I was ready to divorce she said if I divorced her she wouldn’t let me see the kids. She would use anything she could against me to get custody. So I didn’t divorce her. I just moved back in. I spend time with my kids every day. I eat, drink an…

Thank you. You are right. I posted the stuff above when the news first broke. I didn’t update it when better information was available.

There is nothing wrong with helping someone who needs helps and expecting nothing in return.

The number one factor when determining whether or not someone goes to a nursing home or not is whether they shit themselves. If you have a wife she will put you in a nursing home if you shit your pants regularly. If you don’t you will live at home. It is pretty much the same if you’re alone.

If you are married you gotta make that woman work. Even if she screws her boss and half her coworkers. Even if she spends all her money and half of yours. Just make her work so that when you divorce her some idiot judge won’t make you pay for her like she is a goddamn child.

We will get a crash soon. It has been 12 years or so and the economy crashes about once a decade. However, the problems we’ve had like the 2008 housing crisis and the dotcom bubble were really mild. There was no political instability. There was no hyper inflation, no power grid collapse, no starvation or any thing like that. Obama and Trump and their supporters believe that there is a big difference between the parties but there really isn’t. Our politics are incredibly stable. Neither party thr…

I lived in Honolulu when that book was all the rage in the 90’s. One of the newspapers did some research and concluded that ‘Rich Dad’ never existed. He claimed that rich dad owned a restaurant and iirc a construction business when Kiyosaki was in high school. It was pretty easy to just check every restaurant owner on the island and compare it to every construction company and they found there was no one who owned both businesses. They highlighted a few other glaring falsehoods and concluded tha…

We should change it to men going whotfeaps’s own way since you are here to decide what we do when we are alone and with our own bodies. Glad we have you to tell us what is acceptable.

Students go to class 15 hours a week for about 32 weeks a year. Adults work 40 hours a week 50 weeks a year. College gives you more free time than you will ever get in your working life. Plus you are surrounded by people with no real responsibilities. I know college kids feel like having to study or write a paper is a real responsibility but it isn’t. It is like practice for real responsibility. So lots of free time, little responsibility and being surrounded by similar people is what makes it l…

I’d bang the hooker and quit the churches. There is really no place for the superstition of ancient desert nomads in the modern universe.

When family members need a little money I give it to them with no questions asked and no expectations of getting the money returned. But if they want a loan then I tell them they have to take some kind of personal finance course or program. Dave Ramsey is popular. These are free: https://www.forbes.com/sites/sleasca/2017/08/31/free-personal-finance-classes-online/#4dcbfc791bce

Try meditation videos on YouTube. Search for something like ‘sleep hypnosis meditation’. I like a guy named Michael Sealey that does sleep hypnosis videos. But you have to find someone whose voice as accent doesn’t annoy you. Basically, just have a bedtime ritual. Warm shower, sleepy time tea then listen to the same video each night. Turn the lights off. Have your phone facing down so the light doesn’t bother you. Turn off auto play. After a few nights you’ll be falling asleep really fast after …

The rule is half your age plus seven. She is half your age plus seven and a half. So you are fine. Ask her out and stop being creepy. If she rejects you then move on.

I am giving her the benefit of the doubt. But considering that she leaves for weeks at a time fucking other guys, I acknowledge there is a lot to be doubted.

Best of luck. It sounds like your wife has been through some shit. I am sorry that she was raped. But she is fucking other guys and maybe giving them herpies. Maybe it is a sick sort of vengeance. Thankfully you are safe. But please realize that you are sticking your dick in crazy. If she is letting you get away now you need to go. As calmly and cooperatively as you can you need to go. She is not going to let you go easily if you wait. When she decides you deserve vengeance too she will unleash …

I have been a nurse for twenty years. I was a feminist in nursing school. I believed that the patriarchy was real, that women were oppressed and that men had an unfair advantage in the workplace and in life generally. But after working with women for many years I’ve just come to accept the fact that life proved me wrong. When you hold a belief that is simply incompatible with evidence you have to reconsider your beliefs. I did. Women do not really want to be in charge. I’ve rarely worked inna ho…

I generally think it is wrong to fuck another man’s woman. In this case it is OK. Hit it. Film it. Mail it to him. Tell him he is still eating your left overs.

A man who works with kids in today’s environment is playing with dynamite. It is just too dangerous. I would never ever do it.

How do humans survive in cold dry places if being cold and dry makes us sick? Icelandic people would be on their deathbeds all year long if this was true. Germs make you sick, not 68 degree air conditioned offices.

That was definitely the case twenty years ago when I served. Women didn’t carry heavy stuff. To be fair, we wouldn’t let them. The stuff was too valuable and if we had to move we didn’t have all day.

How did our ancestors go from hunting wooly mammoth into extinction to being too fragile for an air conditioned room?

Change your locks, get a new phone number and block her texts and emails. Tell your friends and family not to accept any messages from her. As bad as this might be it could be worse.

Does she think she gets sick from cold air? The germ theory of disease is like a hundred and fifty years old now. If cold air made people sick Alaska, Iceland, Scandinavia and Russia would be unpopulated.

I was a soldier. I don’t disbelieve the stories but I know a lot of soldiers mistake whores for girlfriends when retelling the stories and they exaggerate a lot. I bet the statistics exist via DNA tests now.

Talk to union workers in your area. Some have great programs. My brother is an electrician in Philadelphia and makes great money. He got paid throughout his apprenticeship and the union sent him to classes while he was working.

The response is bullshit. Who put men in charge of women’s safety? I go to the gym. I practice martial arts. I take my own safety seriously. I don’t hurt anyone. Why should I be burdened with taking violence against women seriously? It isn’t my problem. If they want to be safe they can learn self defense like any person can.

I’d actually like to see some data to support that. I wonder if 23&me or some other database can confirm that Germans in Germany have more Russian/French/English/American dna than Germans in Austria or Switzerland or Lichtenstein.

I am a lawyer. When I find a fellow lawyer who is not a snake they usually become a friend for life. I can think of half a dozen that have really helped me or that I still spend my free time with years after we stopped working together.

I’ve been a nurse for twenty years. Working with women is hard but it is much harder for women to work with other women. I can sit back and stay out of their cat fights. New nurses, mostly younger women, get hell from the older women. They are just cruel. But that having been said, I wouldn’t mentor the new nurses either. They are just too petty and too quick to back stab anyone who seems vulnerable.

She killed him because he had a girlfriend a year after they separated and no longer lived together. She claims he had some sort of emotional control over her but it seems more like she just had no emotional control. I am pretty much in favor of people killing their abusers normally. But this isn’t a case of a battered spouse. She isn’t even claiming he hit her. He just liked other women.

I am not sure what unrestricted speech is. That is sort of a buzz word from people who want the government to silence some opinions. Hate speech is protected by the first amendment. The Supreme Court agrees with nearly all constitutional scholars who think that to prohibit hate speech in America you have to repeal the first Amendment. Threats are restricted in some instances but she encouraged him according to the article. I didn’t see anything about threatening him. The sixth amendment protects…

This case is probably going to be overturned on appeal. There is a lot to the story. She was only 17 yet was tried as an adult. She and the deceased were both mentally ill, medicated and seeing physicians for their mental illness. But more importantly she has free speech. She is allowed to give her opinion. The judge made it explicitly clear in the ruling that it was her unrecorded conversations and Not the text messages that was the basis of her guilt. She is a shit human being but she had a ri…

They might win. Title IX is broad. It applies to private colleges too. If the school sponsors or funds the fraternities in any way they could easily be sucked in to the no-gender-discrimination-against-women rules. I wouldn’t bet either way on a case like this.
