Thanks for the insight. You may be right about denial or desperation and your comment helps me to keep that in mind. I did generalize and still my post was too long. I tried to address the benefits I received from this community but it was more of a footnote than the main message. I know I have been hateful and that's what drew me here in the first place. But then I encountered those wise helpful souls you speak of and it did me a lot of good. I hope to be paying it forward and not putting anyon…

Thank you. That's just what it was for me. I'm grateful for the support of this community and the lessons I learned here. Those are things I couldn't get anywhere else. The laughs we're good too.

Damn dude. Seems like you are responding to something I didn't say. Im not off to "get back on the horse". I just don't need to see bitterness like that anymore. I can't see how it would help me now. Good luck friend.

I met the most wonderful woman and she opened my eyes! JK It has been a process starting with MGTOW and after my anger had lessened, the positive message here about living for yourself resonated with me. Those sources I mentioned (in that order) also helped a lot. Jordan Peterson especially. The wound isn't healed but I'm ready to start the next phase of treatment. I wrote this post to try to give back a bit to a community that got me through the worst of it. I have a long way to go still.

Thank you. I did not feel this way a month ago though. This place serves a purpose and the dogma is very comforting when your world gets turned upside down. I don't think the people here are stupid, just venting.

This! Monkey isn't even a racial epithet, unless it serves your cause to perceive it as one. The race card is getting to be like that old debit card in your wallet that you sat on so many times it's splitting in half. Time to throw it away, it's served you well for many years but its time is over now.

Agreed on both points. I would be such a hoe, but I probably still wouldn't lie about it. I wouldn't even have to. It's just that most people are so concerned about what others think of them. I believe that's why they have to lie, to save face. Despite them all doing the same thing haha

This is what worked for me in that first stage of getting over it. Start by keeping yourself busy all the time with productive things. If your mind is engaged it can't reminisce. The suggestion to get a dog isn't a bad one but a dog is a responsibility too. On the one hand you'll get unconditional love and have an appreciative creature to expend your love on. On the other hand, traveling gets harder, a regular work schedule is hard on the dog and you'll have something dependent on you which will…

I didn't feel to blame for it or anything but it shook my world knowing my relationship was not what I thought it was. It meant a lot to me. But that was then, now I don't think it would bother me as much for the exact reason you said.

Thanks for sharing. I agree with what you're saying and now cheating won't be so bothersome but as a blue pill it was devastating.

More great cars for me! May they all enjoy their Priuses and their wives' BMW X5s so that I can buy all those mid 80s Japanese muscle cars and that Shelby GT500 I've lusted after since "Gone in 60 Seconds"

I moved to Marin about ten years ago and this doesn't surprise me one bit. Southern Marin (where this school is) is known to be full of rich hypergamous post wall women. We've got one of the highest divorce rates in the country and I believe the highest suicide rate (thanks to the Golden Gate Bridge). Great place to live haha

Why did you "not really care" about cheating? Good for you because that fucks a lot of guys up. That's why I'm here, all the rest of the regular woman behavior didn't bother me as much (fun to read about it now with a new point of view though), but the cheating really got me. Honesty and integrity are what I most respect in a person and I no longer expect to find it in a woman. What's"funny" though is that I had already learned that lesson before the last time. I just thought my sample size was …

Try to filter it a bit. There's a lot of guys who are just angry and not ready to think straight. The actual MGTOW principles are not vindictive or "revenge speak". We don't want to take anything from women we just want to give back to ourselves what we've given to women. We're decidedly not going about it like feminism as we don't aim to hurt women or change society to improve our lot in life. We are changing ourselves to improve our lot in life. Read the sidebar, you are getting the wrong impr…

Hamstering is women's thought process as they justify their behavior. The things they do are emotional (as opposed to logical) so the hamster spins it's wheel trying to make sense of what they do with faulty logic and zero self reflection.

And why do we distance ourselves from them? Because we learned the facts about their nature. Most of us learned the hard way. He is imparting his wisdom to his child that his son might avoid the mistakes he made himself. That is the job of a parent to share the wisdom of their experiences so that their child can make informed decisions. I call bullshit on you. Plenty of us came here without being fucked by the powers that be but just by the nature of women themselves. I haven't been divorce raped or accused of sexual harassment, and in fact one of my exes was arrested for DV so I didn't come here due to the legal climate. I came here just from my experience in LTRs and realizing that nothing I did was ever enough. Give an inch, she wants a mile. Also the most jarring part was noting that women really don't adhere to our standards of decency and respec…

By how often Eastern Europe is mentioned in this sub and how many posters seem to be from there I got the impression it is just as bad as here. Seems like the change was more recent there though so it is more surprising to the Eastern European men on here. Whereas, we in the West grew up into this world that was gynocentric from the day I was born (1988) and probably had been for years before that. It's not slapping us in the face as much as if it all changed before our eyes. In the West it's mo…

With a username like that... Really though, do it. I got mine when I was 26 and have not regretted it for a second. As far as medical procedures go it's not that difficult nor that expensive. Considering it can save you a half million dollars pretty easily, it's the best investment I ever made. Plus, you regain control of your own procreation. No begging a woman to abort the child you didnt want.

That mentality will take you far, I'm sure. Also, while you were exemplifying your "nice guy" attitude you were insulting people for disagreeing with you. Most men here are not Incels, they're here because they already played the game, lost and then realized the game was rigged. I have zero doubt that it will happen to you too and then everything you read here will all suddenly make sense. See you then, and be careful out there, your belief system makes you very vulnerable to unscrupulous people…

I don't mean a submissive personality like the blue pill platitude you're referring to. I mean the Chad personality of disinterest, self importance and peacockery. Besides money it's the reason you see female 9s with male 5s. Because if a woman gets turned down by what she perceived as a 5 he suddenly becomes a 7 via hamster logic.
/r/MGTOW08/02/18 02:12 AM
1

That is not what I think a Chad is. I think a Chad is an alpha because that's what women are attracted to. Physical appearance is more important to men than it is to women. Women get attracted to the personality more than the looks (looks still count of course). There's plenty of evidence to support that. Justin Trudeau is a Chad?! I disagree.
/r/MGTOW08/02/18 01:46 AM
1

I see a lot of that (Chad hate) too and it comes off as petty jealousy hence the hate/admire references. Chad is not the enemy. Nor do I think he is enviable or a "winner".
/r/MGTOW08/02/18 01:41 AM
1

Yup, I wasn't trying to discourage the Chad rants although I won't participate. I do want to present that there is more to the issue than just one word and one understanding. I hope one Chad hater/worshipper can benefit from this conversation and broaden their view of this one aspect of our world.
/r/MGTOW08/02/18 01:37 AM
3

I think "asshole" (by blue pill standards) is a prerequisite to be alpha. Women don't want what they can have and don't respect what they are allowed to dominate. Chad will break their hearts or else he's not Chad. At least that's my understanding. Yes, a thank you to the Chads out there! Taking the attention off of those who don't want it and perpetuating the cycle of hypergamy, exposing women for what they are one at a time without any risk to me.

That's kind of my question, seems MGTOW to me. Not necessarily a successful one by any standard but pussy as his conquests surely take up most of the time he could use to gain resources and skills. But if that's his way, go for it brother.

That's exactly what I'm getting at.
/r/MGTOW08/02/18 12:57 AM
2

Damn! That's well put. We're all trying to stick our dicks into life and jumping through the requisite hoops to do so, aren't we? Chasing resources and chasing pussy are really not so different and resources beget pussy (another resource). Story of the Y Chromosome indeed. I had never heard the part about our genetic bottleneck but I don't doubt it even without looking it up. "Team" was decidedly the wrong word to use as we are all on our own team. Just like Chad.
/r/MGTOW08/02/18 12:56 AM
3

Yup, I agree with everything you said. The second paragraph makes a very good point that I hadn't considered. They perpetuate the artificial inflation of women's SMV because of hamster logic. "I got fucked by a 10 therefore I am a 10. He pumped and dumped me because he's an asshole not because I don't have value" Women must actually think we have to like them to fuck them, dizzy dames. I think too that is related to men and women's different understanding of what is precious to them. Men value t…

Thanks for the well thought out explanation. You think the average Chad isn't red pilled? That part I'm not sure I understand. I take it that it's because he isn't giving women LTRs, but not for the right reasons? He's just too spoiled for choice to ever tie himself down like that. I won't argue with the 80/20 rule but around here lots of guys exaggerate it into the 99/1 rule. I think there's more Chads than we acknowledge and they run a wider spectrum of types and MOs than we pretend they do.

I love their desire to be linguists and rewrite language without any understanding of how it works or where it came from. Menstruation comes from a Latin root word for month, "mensis" (like menses). That is much more enlightened than some people seem to realize. It only appears to be a problem because we are selfish and the center of our own universes. It is not good or bad, it simply is and we should be aware what it is when we make choices. Thanks for the perspective. But... Im not that enlightened yet. I say it's women. Feminism is just a tool to further their ends of having all privileges without any responsibility.

Just because she doesn't actually want you (even while in a relationship with her) doesn't mean she won't be jealous if you want someone else. Logic doesn't really apply here it's about the feels.

Many people refer to this RP behavior as being a jerk or a misogynist but I don't see it that way. If you don't commit to a woman and keep pursuing other women and they all know about it, you're not really being a jerk. It's just about valuing yourself more than the people you date. Not giving someone what they want doesn't make you a jerk. Not giving women commitment sure doesn't make you a misogynist.

She rebuffed his advances (while they are apparently dating). She photographs the engagement ring (that she happily accepts while ignoring the giver) so she can use it to brag on Instagram. And finally she is jealous of him looking at other women despite the fact that she isn't giving him any. He was a beta she was uninterested in until he got money, at which point, she married him, now she owns him. Stay stoned.

Word. I've been in that situation more than once and never have I been allowed to leave without physically removing her hands from me (which on a woman's skin causes bruising). Even then, these bitches will chase you down the street. That was always my thought too. "I'll just leave instead of engaging in the fight (even being there getting hit without defending myself)." That's not a cuck thing, that's a knowledge of the gynocentric government. I dunno if you saw the video of Joe Mixon (NFL Rookie this last season) decking a girl in a restaurant? She hit him, he defended himself by punching her in the face, she went down, he got charged. This was all on camera and logically he had a right to defend himself but "she's just a girl" so naturally he lost.

By definition, the opposite is true. Gains are infinite, losses are capped at zero. Your perception is skewing reality. If you think all changes make things worse, they will. If you can accept the possibility of an improvement in your condition it suddenly becomes possible.

The relationship between mother and child is the only one I don't apply AWALT principles to. My mother is the only woman in my life who gave me more than she took. That is only because I am her child and she has a natural inclination to provide for her child, not take from them (clearly this doesn't apply to all mothers but it does for mine and OP's. Well alright then. TBH I don't understand what "holding frame" is as I have no experience in TRP stuff. Patrice never got married, never put himself in that legal predicament. His content (comedy routines) do not address the legal situation and that is ignoring a fundamental facet of our interactions with women in the modern Western world. Patrice said this stuff 10 years ago, and while times have changed, it was already a gynocentric government at the time. If your dog bites you, leave it in the street. We can still do that without repercussion (if you covered your ass well enough) and I think Patrice advised that if your dog even feigns biting you that you remind it that the alternative is to fend for itself. Ironic though that while they want to control things they barely know what they want and definitely don't know how to make themselves happy. My ex has many friends that work as flight attendants on international flights. She told me in no unclear terms that these women are striving to serve the first class passengers so they can find a rich man to marry and never have to work the job they never wanted in the first place. Ten years ago I would've been shocked, now it seems obvious.

My sentiments exactly and beautifully put into words by the person you quoted. I was a smart kid but didn't like to play the school game (dont do the homework but get As and Bs on tests). This resulted in worse grades than my peers who were willing to do the rote work but often didn't understand the material they were studying. The girls with the best grades were never the smartest ones they were the ones who sucked up to the teacher and copied betas homework assignments before class. The ones w…

I have never had that urge. Life is hard enough without people going out of their way to try to annoy me. Being the change

I've been in relationships for the better part of my adult life but I always needed my solitude. I loved spending time with the women I was with but not having that time to myself to make my own decisions and not consider what she wants was necessary for my sanity. In fact, woman or not I've always valued my alone time most of all. Starting to think I'm in the minority in this regard.

So are you gay or asexual? I know we're "going our own way" but that doesn't mean women aren't still the object of most men's sexual desires. How would a doll teach you what you're doing? Does she tell you what she likes? Or are you thinking you really need to study the anatomy more carefully than you could with porn or a sex ed textbook? I also disagree on the "body next to you in bed" statement and it's benefit to self esteem. I would expect the opposite effect for myself. No matter how lifelike it is, I know it's a doll and it will make me feel even lonelier and more pathetic than sleeping alone would. I don't think cuddling a hook…

I can understand his position despite the fact I would handle the situation differently. I would expect the denizens of this subreddit to give advice and be supportive rather than make an example of OP. We're all on the same team.

I like the point about the gun to your head. Because even if she doesn't pull the trigger she can use it to rape you for your time, money or whatever else she fancies at "gun"point. Thank you for sharing your story.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
