WIVES OF HVM - how’d you do it?1000% I believe it’s a huge component to a man’s career success to have a happy and peaceful home life and to have a space where he feels like he can truly be himself and be totally accepted. It replenishes his energy levels and builds his confidence. | /r/RedPillWomen | 30/04/21 12:43 PM

How do I cope with my boyfriend looking at attractive women online after finding out he has a porn addiction?I think it’s not that easy for him to turn on or off like a light switch. I think you’re right not to trust he has stopped cold turkey just like that. It is an addiction, after all. Echoing others’ comments, I don’t want to jump right to “leave him”, but in this scenario it would be really tough for any woman’s self esteem to fully recover enough to love and respect him the way you did before and the way you want to your partner. Since you are not married...move on, you deserve someone who adore… | /r/RedPillWomen | 25/02/21 10:48 PM

How to be a better wifeYou’re living my dreammm scenario. Some of the things I’m so excited about being able to do once I can quit working full time are: - focus on my physical fitness and be able to elevate/dedicate more time to working on my body - learn more about nutrition and cooking and continue improving my skills with a variety of clean/healthy but also delicious meals, snacks etc. for us and our future family - improve my gardening skills, and specifically use permaculture principles to grow fresh food for us… | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/02/21 11:19 PM
Would I be overdressed if I wore this on a date at a bar?Such a good point. If you’re visibly uncomfortable in it that’s not cute. | /r/RedPillWomen | 05/02/21 12:34 PM
Wear makeup at home?I have it done at the dermatologist but I think there are at home versions you can buy, not sure about the quality. From what I understand there are different lasers/light frequencies that would be used based on the problem you want to treat so there’s a specific acne attachment that kills the bacteria. But I don’t have a very deep understanding of how it works (I just know it works, haha) so definitely look into it if you are interested! | /r/RedPillWomen | 04/02/21 06:52 PM
Wear makeup at home?Stands for intense pulsed light - basically a laser treatment - “a type of light therapy used to remove age spots, sun damage, freckles, birthmarks, varicose veins, wrinkle treatment and wrinkle reduction, rosacea, and unwanted body hair”. Has done wonders for my melasma/pigmentation, acne, rosacea and just general overall skin texture/tone. | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/02/21 09:09 PM
Wear makeup at home?I used to not like my husband (or anyone) seeing me without makeup, but when we got engaged I got serious about becoming the best version of myself physically in the run up to our wedding. I made some basic tweaks to where I’m now super confident with my natural face! Best advice - skin first, makeup second. Invest in a great skincare routine and see a cosmetic dermatologist to get your natural skin nice enough to where you don’t need foundation. Mine suggested a daily regimen that works wonders… | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/02/21 07:36 PM
Nancy ReaganTotally agree. Masculine and feminine energy in their purest forms are cooperative forces. But it is a shame when those roles pervert themselves into the doormat/bully relationship you described, and I think that happens when neither partner knows themselves or one another deeply enough to know how to lean into those energies successfully. The same reasons people go to therapy, the roles weren’t modeled to them well and they repeat the cycle, self-sabatoging. Men and women alike. Unfortunately t… | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/01/21 10:16 PM
Does anyone else find being surrendered and letting him lead EXTREMELY difficult?Yeah I don’t think “letting go of control” has to mean never voicing your opinion. If you’re making a decision together you can give your two cents in a feminine way like asking “What do you think about this?” “What if we did that” “I had an idea, do you think xyz would work?” etc. - things of that nature. You might have a great point he hadn’t thought of or an alternate way to solve a problem that he will love. Women are smart and we have extremely valuable insights to contribute to our relatio… | /r/RedPillWomen | 30/11/20 08:17 PM
Broadening Vocabulary & SpeechSo, you need a library card to be able to log in/set up a profile on the Libby app, but once you do that you will have access to rent and use a ton of free e-books and audiobooks! I know many library systems across the country are on it. I am not sure if the inventory is based on your specific library branch or if all Libby users have access to the same selection, but I’ve had about a 50/50 success rate with finding the book I’m looking for in stock. Sometimes a book is immediately available and… | /r/RedPillWomen | 15/11/20 06:55 PM
Broadening Vocabulary & SpeechAgreed with what everyone has said here - read as much as you can! Right before quarantine I joined my local library and downloaded the Libby app which is connected to a bunch of library systems, and I have been reading more than I have since I was a kid. Every time I come across a book I’m interested in, I look it up and if it’s on there I can read it for free on my iPad (I’m sure it works with Kindle too) instead of just buying it on amazon like I would have before. I also LOVE listening to au… | /r/RedPillWomen | 14/11/20 03:17 PM
Why I (19F) take advice from this sub even though I’m usually as progressive as it gets (+ a field report!!)Love this! I am extremely progressive in my political views and I have definitely second guessed whether my RPW beliefs contradict that (or vice versa). My husband and I met in college just like you guys, but you’re lucky you’ve been exposed to this info on the front end - I didn’t stumble onto RPW until a few young, immature and rocky years into dating and almost soon as I started applying them, the relationship started to go in the more mature and serious direction that I was hoping for. Over … | /r/RedPillWomen | 02/10/20 06:45 PM
I did it ... I switched to part time work! So, I totally agree with you, I don’t think it’s right necessarily, but it’s reality. It doesn’t make me upset because for starters, that was very much my personality/upbringing to begin with, to always be presentable, not leave the house without at least light makeup and hair somewhat styled and dressed decently, very traditional ideologies that came from the women in my family (who in my opinion are smart to realize that beauty is currency in our society and capitalize on that). So it’s not li… | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/09/20 02:25 PM
I did it ... I switched to part time work!Great points! And I should have clarified - the daily hair/makeup routine applied much more so pre-covid when I was going into work every day. I work in sales and visited my clients’ businesses daily so a full suit, heels and coiffed to the nines was the expectation (and the requirement from my company). That normally meant waking up at 5 to hit the gym, primp and still make my 8AM meeting every morning. Now that we are WFH and doing video meetings, I still have to look professional but a LOT le… | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/09/20 03:39 PM
I did it ... I switched to part time work!Question for you - would you include the beauty maintenance which many women do (and which often costs money) in your definition of “work”? Between 1-2 hours in the gym + transportation + 1-2 hours to get cleaned up afterwards, there’s ~3-4 hours/day that’s not technically “free time” (but that you are paying for like a service). Add to that biweekly nail appointments, monthly hair salon and dermatologist visits, hair removal (or the at-home, DIY versions of all these - but we all know those can… | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/09/20 02:07 PM
What is a RPW way to deal with an adulterous husband? Please, please leave...get your affairs in order and file for divorce ASAP. This man is dead weight pulling you down from your happiness and success for his own benefit, and that’s BEFORE the cheating and the total lack of support/care for your health and recovery. I hope this is fake because it’s disgusting to imagine an actual person seriously holding these views and exhibiting this behavior, but on the off chance that it’s not, you are a glorified saint for what you’ve already been through an… | /r/RedPillWomen | 24/08/20 07:03 PM
Would you rather be with someone who will provide 100% financial security but not much emotional connection, chemistry, and compatibility, or someone with all that but could not provide TOO well financially?Just curious, did you take her out on the weekends and on vacation and stuff? I can’t imagine gifts to one another could’ve been anywhere close to equal in value? I’m just trying to envision how this would work because it seems really weird to me right off the bat, especially with such a large income disparity. Supporting her as in paying her bills is one thing (I agree with you not the best idea), but I feel like when it comes to your personal/social life there’s a big difference between what s… | /r/RedPillWomen | 13/07/20 09:28 PM
Pornography & MenVery well said! This matches my perspective best of the comments I’ve read on here. What is your position on the fact that it’s a private activity and unless it presents obvious issues with our sex life, as a woman it is basically impossible to know whether or not your SO uses porn and how often (without snooping of course - which I still don’t believe in even under these circumstances)? Just curious - my husband and I have a healthy and fulfilling sex life and so it’s not a major concern for me… | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/06/20 02:23 PM
How to spot unavailable men?Nope I don’t think these are crazy or unrealistic standards at all. Half are baseline being a good and respectful person and the other half are qualities you are looking for that align with your interests/values you don’t want to compromise on...good for you. Liking to travel, prioritizing family relationships, and career ambition (for example) are not things that tend to change about people and it’s really important to share those values. On some of the smaller things like dress style and art -… | /r/RedPillWomen | 07/04/20 06:29 PM

The Man Who Won't WorkMe too! He has his “guilty pleasure” hobby to blow off steam and I have mine...on the nights he’s gaming, you can usually find me on the couch with a glass of wine, doing a sheet mask and watching Bravo. Needless to say neither of us is very interested in joining in on the other but we can still enjoy being together while our own thing! Totally content, feels like a win-win to me. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/01/19 05:58 PM
