I took stats through high-school, and statistical sciences and Psychology through University. The one thing and the most important things is to eliminate as many external variables that could screw up how reliable your data is. The main lesson is finding out for yourself which behaviour you deem unacceptable and will not tolerate. Having standards gives you value and (imo) improves inner game drastically.
