I haven't read the book you are referring to but the part you just quoted makes marriage sound like a business transaction. Kinda messed up. Based on my PERSONAL observations the women that have casual sex dont tend to be "wife" material be it they have poor decision making skills, poor money management skills, ect ect wouldnt that skew the results and have nothing to do with the length of waiting for intimacy?
